Holiday rentals with beach access in Vila Nova de Milfontes

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

The apartment is very well located, near the beach and with many restaurants nearby. The coolest thing is the terrace because of the beautiful view. If you prefer to stay and enjoy time in silence, it’s a great choice. It's also very clean and has everything you need. And the hosts are very helpful and very responsive; we appreciated their help with anything. It’s a perfect place for a vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views are unreal, pictures cannot do it justice. Short walk to the beach and a pool right below! Gil and Telma were very responsive, we had lost power one night and Telma helped us fix right away. Perfect stay for our first time in Lagos and we would definitely return!

Lovely host, lovely apartment in a great location. we would definitely recommend.

Host was very responsive & met us to walk us into the place. The photo for check in needed updating, it’s now at KK’s Thai Massage for a more accurate entrance area, but we rented a car and had free parking right in front (limited but got lucky!) Place was very clean and the balcony was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and resting at night. We walked to all the shops, pleasantly surprised just how much there was to do around! We ate at Terrazo Italian, incredible food! Beach was beautiful, definitely don’t suggest having a large suitcase tho for parking or elevator access :) Otherwise host was super nice, place was super clean & definitely bang for the buck for an air bnb.

Maria is an excellent host, responds quickly to messages and is very friendly. Maria José, who welcomes guests and hands them the keys, is also very friendly and available, the welcome was excellent. The space is welcoming and well-equipped with the essentials for short stays, ideal for 2 people. When we return to Porto Covo, we will seriously consider choosing the same accommodation, it is very well located and has parking very close (in addition to excellent restaurants). Joana is an exceptional host and her place has so much charm and character. We immediately felt at home in her peaceful retreat. Joana stocked the refrigerator and provided a welcome basket with all kinds of treats which was so kind. The house was so cute and comfortable, had all we needed and we enjoyed the luxury of a private pool. The house is conveniently situated to Old Town and we were able to walk there & to the Ponta da Piedade boardwalk hike. Thank you Joana for sharing your spectacular home with us and we totally recommend your place to others!

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Unique, cozy little house with the beach right outside, perfect for a one of a kind vacation. Sagres is the chillest place, surf town with incredible natural beauty and all the essentials. Hosts are lovely. We had a great time.

Stephanie was a wonderful host. She was always approached and took care of us during all our entire stay. We felt right at home at her beautiful little house. Raposeira is lovely little village, full of lovely people. Even though it’s quiet and peaceful, it’s surrounded by spectacular sceneries, breathtaking walking trails, and buzzing cities like Lagos. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ahua Portugal, where our host Anne guided us with thoughtful local tips and quick responses. Nestled on a peaceful hillside above Seixe Valley, the modern house had every comfort we needed and felt like the perfect retreat. We were deeply inspired by Anne’s dedication to the land. She has led a reforestation project across her 18-hectare estate, planting over 30,000 cork trees to restore the forest after wildfires. Tip: Do plan to bring a reliable car. The unpaved access roads are best navigated with a vehicle that has good clearance. If you’re seeking a serene, private getaway with a caring, responsive host deeply connected to her land, Ahua Portugal is an exceptional choice! Five stars all the way, and thank you, Anne!

We had an amazing stay at Hugo’s place - definitely one of the best spots in Arrifana! The location is unbeatable.. right on the beach with stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves all day long. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Simple but cozy, with all the essentials. Hugo was an exceptional host- very friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Great communication throughout our stay. The area is perfect for surfing with plenty of rental shops nearby, plus great restaurants within walking distance. Aljezur is only about 15 minutes away if you need supermarkets or extra supplies. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Margarida’s place. The home is thoughtfully designed and nestled in the heart of an orange orchard, which made waking up to the scent of orange blossoms feel like a dream. The space was very comfortable and peaceful, with plenty of privacy—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time by the pool and gazing at the clear, starry skies at night. The Algarve is absolutely stunning, and Margarida’s place made our time there even more special. Highly recommended!

We had a really pleasant stay in Lenias little house. It was everything there we needed. It is really beautiful in nature and close to nice beaches and the village Rogil. My son loved to cuddle the little cat Jippie and the horse Garota:)

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Joao warmly welcomed us and even provided wine and a fruit plate for us. He gave us many tips for excursions and always responded quickly. The location is very central and you can reach the sea and center on foot in about 10-15 minutes. There is a very good bakery (Delicias), and many grocery stores nearby. The apartment is well equipped and has a wonderful view of the sea. The apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Anabela’s beach apartment is a real gem in a gem of a town. The view from the window of the apartment is gorgeous with waves crashing below. You can sit at the table watching the ocean. The apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable and is spotlessly clean. Anabela is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and accommodating – in short, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her apartment and will definitely plan to return if we visit Portugal again.

A great location to start expiring the area. The apartment is not located in the most touristy area but in the quieter part of the town. Very easy to walk down to the beautiful beach, restaurants or explore the area for a walk. Nat provided recommendations for the direct area but also for the surrounding area. The flat itself is perfect and has everything you can imagine. Nat went so far even bringing us a new citrus press when we talked about it at our arrival. Thanks again for this great service. So the only negative I can say is that you will have to leave at one point! Thanks for having us and definitely a recommendation.
