Waterfront holiday rentals in Vila Real District

We rented the entire floor for 5 people: 3 double bedrooms, a kitchen with a closed terrace, and two bathrooms. The apartment is very functional, well maintained and well located. We recommend it!

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. Location is great. Close to the center on foot but in a peaceful area close to a river where one can swim. The accommodation is well equipped and spacious, very pleasant. Communication with the host is fluid, she is always available and attentive to needs.

Very good stay in Fernanda's (clean, spacious, comfortable) accommodation. We stayed there in April, we had to use the heater which works very well, for a stay in summer, air conditioning in each room would be useful, because currently it is only in the living room. I would recommned this property

Beautiful location, great bars, restaurants all within walking distance. You can walk to the church and the old bridge. Lovely river walks on both sides of the river with an easy walkway easily marked. Parking is free, near the residence. Walk up to the 3rd floor is manageable. Washing machine with detergent. The shower has nice pressure, and the beds are "firm" European style. The views are spectacular.

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

This place is absolutely amazing — it exceeded all our expectations! In real life, it looks even better than in the photos. Getting there was very easy, and there’s a large parking area right on the property, so we felt totally safe leaving our car. The views from the rooms and the living area are simply unreal — breathtaking. Inside, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful — very responsive and helpful, and arranging check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The entire property is stunning and well cared for. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Douro!

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Beautiful view of the Douro, easy to reach from the train station, climb was a bit exhausting, but the view was worth it.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Pedro's place is a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil location with beautiful views hills and lake. Pedro was accommodating and helpful right from the start with heaps of fantastic recommendations on places to visit and always responded to any question promptly. The house is in a very small village along a very narrow road so you definitely need a car, however within 15-20 mins drive there are an abundance of amazing hikes, look outs and waterfalls. my children especially enjoyed waking up to the chickens and seeing the local farmers (right next door) move their cows and sheep each morning and afternoon. The house is really big with plenty of space for our family of 5 and we really recommend this place.
