Cabin holiday rentals in Vinje Municipality

We had a wonderful holiday cabin of J. and M.. Even before we arrived, we felt welcome and very well informed by J. and M.. Both hosts responded to messages within a very short time and recommended, for example, dreamy hiking in the vicinity. Upon arrival at the residential area, Jonas quickly let us open the barrier. Through the key safe, we could easily and easily get into the cabin. There was everything you need for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday: the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality dishes, good wine glasses and pots. Even a food processor, a kitchen scale, a waffle iron and baking molds are available. In addition, there is a robot vacuum cleaner. A cell phone is located in the cottage, which allows you to open the barrier on your own. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are furnished to a high standard. The jacuzzi on the terrace is an absolute highlight.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. A good place for families. You can find everything you need. Excellent communication. Definitely recommend. 💯

the house had everything it is stated on the site, well equiped for a big group. the house has parking space for only 2/3 cars, we had to park in a nearby empty cabin. we were suprised that no wood was present on premisses. it was the first time we rented a cabin without wood. the house it self does not need it, it was warm enough, but we had to take a quick run to the supermarket to buy wood for the hot tub, it was not far but it would have been nice to know in beforehand. we also did not find butane for the pizzaovn. the slopes are only a couple meters from the cabin. we enjoyed the stay and recommend.

Lovely cozy and tidy home in Rauland. clean and newly renovated, and you felt at home. The house has no TV so you really have time to enjoy the surroundings and each other's company - a big plus. well located with a 5 minute walk to the lift.

Thank you so much for letting us use these cozy and beautiful cabins. We had an unforgettable time surrounded by tranquility, wonderful nature, lots of snow and aurora lights. In addition, the cabin was still lovingly decorated for Christmas, so we immediately felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

An ideal place to relax – whether with friends, family, or as a romantic getaway. The cabin is beautifully equipped and has everything you could possibly need. The view from the hot tub on the terrace and the sauna adds a deep sense of peace and relaxation. My wife and I spent a truly wonderful time here – unforgettable moments of calm and comfort. To top it off, the house looks even better in real life than it does in the photos. Highly recommended!

Nice and beautifully decorated house and inside equipped with all comforts. Beautiful view and you can walk into nature by the stream. The immediate surroundings in the cabin area look (outside the snow period) a little less attractive, but you know that in advance. We chose the house and we had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay in July. The cabin had all we needed with a splendid view as well. We walked to Fagersand just below the cabin for a very children friendly short hike and a swim from the sandy beach. From the cabin we drove to Rjukan and Gaustatoppen for a great day of sightseeing and hiking. Amazing nature!

Stine is an excellent host. She responds promptly and is very flexible. The house is conveniently located, just a short 400m walk from the ski lift. There's also a paid parking lot next to the lift that we didn’t use, but it was always empty while we were there. After a day of skiing, you can take a cross-country track that brings you within about 150m of the house. The house is very well-equipped, with a great kitchen, sauna, and ski and sledding gear. We had a wonderful week in Rikke's residence. The cabin is very cozy. There were two of us and we thought the cabin was spacious enough for us together. The area was beautiful, and it was wonderfully quiet because we were out of season.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage, which is very quiet on a lake. The kitchen is super equipped and the view of the lake while eating and resting in the living room is wonderful. Communication with Olav was smooth and fast, we were also allowed to stay one night longer without complications. We felt very comfortable here!

Extremely helpful host. Description of the house was only in Norwegian but we were well helped by phone when turning on water and heating. Fantastic house, equipped with every luxury. Beautiful view. Absolutely had a lovely stay, would go back here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Trines cottage. Trine was a great host. Everything was well prepared as we arrived. As we had a question during our visit, Trine immediately responded and helped us. The cottage itself is a beautiful place, you can see everywhere that it is wonderfully and lovingly furnished. And you can start activities from here like hiking or biking or just relax.

We have stayed in a beautiful, characteristic house. Completely in Norwegian style. The house had all the comforts. Was clean and organized. The beds were fine. The location was very nice with views of the snowy mountains. The area was passable. We had a nice time there.

This place is paradise on earth! Super quiet with a supreme view over the lake and the cabin interior is very cute. We spent two nights there and did the Ørnenibba walk as mentioned (ca 2,5h, 200m elevation gain) which I can highly recommend. We also saw a moose on our last morning which was the icing on the cake 😊

Great stay in a beautiful house with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Several excursion options such as ski slopes/ trails for cross-country skiing or husky tours are possible nearby. End the day by the fireplace in the evening was our highlight every day.
