Great communication from Evangelos. Very helpful. The place was lovely with everything we needed and the beach at the end of the garden great for snorkelling. The family were very friendly, helpful and generous We were given delicious fresh eggs and potatoes. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a great time at the villa! On site, we were looked after by Sophia and George, who took care of the cleanliness (including new bedding) and the pool once after about 6 days. The two welcomed us warmly. We were able to solve language barriers thanks to translation apps. We slept very well in the beds! The villa is located along with three others at the end of an unpaved road (about 300m long). There is great tranquility. Every once in awhile, a flock of sheep was led past the wall of the villa complex. That was a lovely experience! From some corners of the property it is possible to look out onto the sea. The bathrooms are relatively small - but beautiful! For large/voluminous guests, the space could be a problem. For us (1.7-1.8m body size) it was completely acceptable. Me and my family have traveled a lot and had lovely places to stay. We were sorry to have to leave here, for the first time after a long time.

Beautiful stay at Villa Marae, exactly as in the pictures the villa is spacious, modern and welcoming with all amenities you could need, we felt right at home for the entire week. All the bedrooms have spacious wardrobes and plenty of hangers, all with en-suite bathrooms, good quality bath towels and beach towels, comfortable beds. The outside space is serene, with views of the ocean and some beautiful sunsets too. Welcomed at the villa by the owner Maria, who shown us around, provided a welcome basket and also some other shopping essentials as we arrived very late. She also met us when leaving to say goodbye with a Cretan gift as souvenir. The personal touch was lovely. Etouri Team are very responsive to queries, recommendations and we found them super helpful. Overall a 5* stay
