Holiday rentals with lake access in Viseu District

Very cute little house on the edge of the Rio, converted into a mill, it's rustic but at the same time everything has been arranged and thought out to have a good time, with all the possible comforts (and even games available, a coffee machine etc). There is plenty of space to put yourself, although the house is very dark as it is in old walls, but the garden is simply beautiful. Between the sound of the stream that passes below the terrace, the flowers and the deckchairs to settle in, we were in paradise! Everything was clean and in place for our arrival. The house is right next to a bridge and we went for a walk around it was really nice. A very nice restaurant is 2 minutes' drive from there for a more chic atmosphere that is also enjoyable! This place is incredible. A renovated house from the medieval period, it’s even more impressive than the pictures. The setting is beautiful, with a view of the valley right out the bedroom window. The place itself is spotless and the automated check-in was a breeze. The host even had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and it’s well stocked with coffee. Like most homes in the region, be prepared to drive for groceries and restaurants - and take note that the drive to the house is steep downhill and at times narrow - but take it slow and you’ll be fine. The location of this place is perfect if you want to visit both Porto and the Douro valley. 10/10 would recommend!

This is our best stop on a trip to Portugal. The house has everything you need, it's just nice to be inside. We were still in the moment when the electricity and communication went missing in Portugal - so the hostess and her family showed unreal care - and they brought candles, and the grill was lit and offered food - well, we never had such a cool "apocalypse"! I definitely recommend!

The house is still better than it looks in the photos and description. Large and comfortable, with all that may be needed. Outside space is great, we were 10 people and there were spaces for everyone, the deck has wonderful views where we spend the afternoons and space for the kids to play and play in the ball. The beds were comfortable and as they were on the upper floor allow a separation of noise on the lower floor. Carlos has always been available, was a great host, with quick responses and always available. it is a place to return in a group.

in general, this is a very good place to stay in. Hugo is nice but not very responsive. the place has a unique vibe since it set up as a small village rather then a house. meaning the toilets are out side the house. water pressure is very low so we had to take woderfull baths. the soccer table did not had balls to play with and that room was rather dirty. the water are not good for drinking and the closest place to get water is 15 min. drive. too bad he didn't mention that. the house had an odd smell of old people's house. can use some refreshment. other then that it is really an excellent place to stay in.

This is a very old house, located in a small farm town. The house is tucked in the back of the street and can be a bit hard to find. Luckily one of the friendly neighbors pointed me to the place and I just parked outside the house. I would recommend this house if you’re looking to experience what it’s like to live in a typical house in this area. Not the most modern but it’s fun for a short stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful little stop. The villagers were very friendly and the river was lovely for a refreshing dip. Nuno was very helpful and the place was spotless and had everything one needs

The place was basic and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I was shown around before handed the keys. Parking is free around the apartment but tight so be careful with hire cars (mine was scratched). It's about a 10min walk into the town area, there is a great family run restaurant to the right of the apartment and a few bars nearby. The nearest big supermarket is about 3mins drive away.

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Many thanks to all

The place was exactly what we were looking for, easy access, clean with what you need to have a comfortable stay. Swimming pool was lovely and glad we had air con! Also great to have a bakery opposite who serve lovely coffee, bread and cake.

Very well located apartment and in a quiet area. Very spacious living room and comfortable beds. It had everything we could need in the kitchen as well as in the rooms. 10 minutes away we had a supermarket and the bus station. The super friendly and very attentive host, a 10 for her.

Very quiet apartment, total silence, impeccable cleaning the very comfortable bed which makes it easy and very much the rest. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the baths that is done quietly by the river, communication was easy and quick, I highly recommend staying in this dwelling.

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Great cleaning and good housing conditions are highlighted. lady pink is an honest, transparent, responsible person who helps whenever it is needed. the location is very good. It is not necessary to use the car in everyday life. The building is quiet and most often quiet.

We stayed 4 days in Ysabel's house, with the directions obtained it is it was intuitive to find the house that upon our arrival was as described. The space was more than good, the view of the river was a surplus, and we were able to comfortably make our visits to Porto and surroundings in the extra day there are all the amenities 10 minutes from the house. This is a beautiful place to either rest and reconnect with the beautiful natural surroundings or to share good times with family or friends. The home is beautifully designed and decorated with exceptional taste and very comfortable. And of course being right on the river was amazing and there are great walks and hikes nearby. And Anna and Gleb were great hosts, and provided clear directions and were very responsive to any needs or requests. Highly recommend!

Great house. Great surroundings. Loved the pool area and the boats at the lake.

The accommodation is simply magnificent. It is in the middle of nature, very quiet and very close to nature. You can hear the birds, the water. It is simply a magical place and perfect for arriving at yourself or enjoying the peace. I loved to meditate or do yoga by the water. I would come back anytime. Thanks so much for the nice days.

Amazing location, we loved swimming in the river, kayaking and chilling in the hammocks. Gleb and Anna were really welcoming and helpful hosts. We'd love to visit again. Highly recommended

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
