We had an amazing stay at Jovana's. It's a small studio with a beautiful view. The place is more like a small cozy town, away from the hustle bustle.

Cute little apartment in a historic building. No high class standard but for us everything we needed was there. It was clean and Hamza also provided earplugs - the bar across the street is busy on weekends and does it longer than 23:00. It was perfectly fine with us. Late sleepers should still use these, as you are woken up by the geese in the morning. Hamza was very accommodating and interested in having a good stay. Was great in Stolac.

Really cozy cottage in the mountains. Most other options in the area are more rustic cabin-type accommodations - this is a comfortable home with fully-equipped kitchen and everything you might need. Very nice family that helped out with hiking tips and was very responsive. Note that there are restaurants and a market in both Gacko and Tjentište (in the National Park) but none near the cottage so plan accordingly. Wifi was sufficient to use for work and fast enough to stream shows most of the time.

Our hosts were so kind and friendly, providing us with freshly made local delicacies, wine and beer, and cereal and milk for our three year old. We didnt need to go out for an evening meal. The accommodation was completely spotless and gorgeous. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the place. The setting is incredibly peaceful and our three year old ran around bare foot until the sun went down. He loved it so much. Waking up to complete and utter peace and quiet is truly a joy. The setting is remote and an adventurous but fun drive.
