One-like half-timbered skate on the ground floor

The unique half-timbered cottage is a 450-year-old half-timbered barn that has been rebuilt for residential purposes. The roof chair and the thatched cover had to be renewed. Since sheep stables have the property to have a small ceiling height, the small cottage had to be built up 1 m. The estimated400 new wooden nails were handmade to preserve its old-fashioned appearance to the half-timbered. The old sheep barn floor also found its use in the outer underpass and as outdoor cladding.

Relax with family or friends in this cozy space. With barbecue and fire bar, you can make yourself comfortable outside. In winter, the fireplace provides cozy hours. Or you can explore the area. The beautiful Lüneburg (10 km), Hamburg (40 km) and the Lüneburg Heath (15 km) can be reached quickly. Fresh rolls are available at the bakery around the corner.
