This cozy little log cabin Granly has all amenities and is located undisturbed in rural surroundings on Sunnmøre. You can sit in the covered jacuzzi all year round and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2h), Loen with Skylift (1.5h), the bird island Runde, Øye (1h) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5h). Mountain trips on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

Jølet- Elvedrømmen

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. A quiet place among fjords and the Sunnmøre Alps

Do you have a dream of waking up to the sound of seagulls and fishingboats? And maybe catch a glimpse of an eagle on your way to take a morningswim in the fresh fjord? In the evening deer and hedgehogs might show up just outside the terrace as you watch the sun go down. Within a 30 minutes drive you can find plenty of possibilities to experience the Norwegian nature with cute puffins, exciting trails, deep fjords and the rough ocean. Our home is the perfect place to make your dream come true!

The decor is a mix of retro, old treasures and a little new. Duvets and pillows are mostly new. Can provide thinner ones if desired. We live in the countryside, our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min by car from Volda city center. There is no public transport, so you should have your own car. Nice hiking area right outside the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Right by the lake, and by car it is not far to many of Sunnmøre's beautiful mountains.

Aasengard ligger høyt og fritt midt i et flott kulturlandskap omkranset av ville fjell. Garden grenser til Geirangerfjorden som ligger på UNESCO`s verdensarvliste. Gården ligger midt i et flott rutenett for fotturer. Det er ingen dyr på gården. Det er også mange flotte toppturmuligheter i nærheten.
