Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vossevangen

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

My mother and I had a fantastic stay! The house was very clean and in good condition. The view was spectacular, much better than expected from images. Would highly recommend to stay here. Would love to come back one day.

Christine’s place is very well located and we enjoyed walking to all of the sites in Bergen. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend!

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

We had an absolutely awesome time at Espen’s place in Røldal. The cabin was super modern and clean and had everything we needed for an amazing couple of days enjoying the peace and quiet of Roldal. The view from the cabin is amazing from both inside and out, the beds were so comfortable and Espen was a brilliant host. He recommended great things to do in the area and was super responsive to any questions we had. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would love to come back!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

This place was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, and the host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. Honestly, one of the best stays I’ve ever had on Airbnb. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

We enjoyed the stay in Drengstovo very much and could look at the fjord for hours from the balcony or the sitting area. Anne-Kristine and her husband were very friendly and helpful, but left you privacy. There are smaller shopping facilities 1.5-4 km away. Otherwise, you have to drive about 40 minutes to Odda, or take the ferry to Kinsarvik (free, but rarely runs). There are some excursion options within a radius of a good 1.5 hours.

What an incredible place. The apartment is perched high up in the mountains with absolutely mind-blowing views, it truly felt like we were living in the middle of the fjords. Every room in the house has a view that makes you want to just sit and soak it all in. Honestly, we didn’t feel like leaving the place. The setting is peaceful and unique, with goats and sheep as your friendly neighbors, adding to the charm. It’s a great location, about 30 minutes from both Voss and Flåm, making it a perfect base to explore the region. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

I can’t recommend this property enough, we felt right at home. The hosts are so attentive and hospitable, we even changed our plans to use the kayak and to appreciate the location. We spent hours just looking out over the lake at the stunning views. The pictures we took look photoshopped they are so perfect. Family have already asked for the property details as want to stay. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Very nice room near central Bergen

Gorgeous location. Peaceful walks right out the door. Close to Herdla which has quite a few interesting places like a bird sanctuary and sauna. The host is friendly and super helpful!

Loved staying here! Perfect location that was quiet enough but yet super close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The hosts were great communicators and the Airbnb was set up nicely with very clear instructions for check in and out.

I felt completely comfortable in the accommodation! It is very cozy, sparkling clean and a real little oasis of well-being. Everything you need was available – from kitchen equipment to loving details that made the stay particularly pleasant. The hostess was very warm and helpful.
