The villa was spotless, and everything was in perfect condition. A bit out of the way but with a car was the perfect spot; overlooking the sea and a 10 minutes drive to the nearest village and supermarkets. Really close to Kourtaliotiko gorge and waterfall. Overall was really impressed with this villa and would happily visit again!

Without doubt THE BEST place we've ever been on holiday ❤️. The location is just perfect if you're looking for an 'off grid' place. The mountain views are outstanding and only interrupted by the sound of the mountain goats bells which are wonderfully melodic!. The hosts were wonderful providing us with a homemade Moussaka for our arrival 👌delivering fresh eggs from their hens later in the week. Google Maps brings you right to the villa and a small hire car can make it just take your time on the windy bits! If you're a cat lover you're in for a treat as there are a few beautiful young cats to feed (food provided by owners). Pool fabulous accommodation perfect. We are already booking for next year! 💯 the perfect place to wind down and recharge away from everything we couldn't recommend enough! ps Nikolaos was super helpful when we needed support on getting a flat tyre replaced 👌

We loved our stay here. The place is new so feels fresh and clean. The view is gorgeous, mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. There was a coffee machine so we would have a great coffee and look at the view in the morning. We enjoyed being a little out of town and liked walking up the hill to feel like we are keeping fit! Probably get a car if you don’t like walking. The host is very responsive and there was a lovely lady available for all our needs if we had trouble with anything. Highly recommend. We miss the place already!

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. We stayed in this lovely, modern villa in southern Crete. The surroundings were beautiful, we enjoyed a lot of sunny days, which made our stay even better. There were several nice restaurants that we very much enjoyed. Also happy with the well equipped supermarket just a minute away. The authentic and mountaineous region is very beautiful. We explored the scenic landscapes, like the Imbros gorge. The villa was very clean and well-equipped, providing all the essentials for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is wonderful as is the outdoor grill, and the bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The villa's location on the beach provided very nice views, we felt very lucky to have the whole beach to ourselves. Loved the privacy. One downside was the heated pool. We had chosen this villa in large part for the pool, but during our stay in April, the water was not yet warm enough, which was a bit disappointing for the kids. We would recommend this l

We already know the house from previous holidays. And we are very happy here. We have three dogs in the house, it is not a given that this is possible. Thanks to the nice host. Everything is very relaxed with him. The next year is currently being planned.

We spent 2 beautiful weeks, spacious and well arranged accommodation with beautiful views of the garden and sea view. Comfortable beach very close, with a car to get around you can reach more spectacular bays more or less nearby. Shopping shops and tavernas within walking distance of the house. Highly recommend!
