Waterfront holiday rentals in Vulcano

At the risk of replicating so many of the other wonderful reviews I must unequivocally say that Beatrice’s home was absolutely stellar. Every single aspect was superb: the design, location, conveniences/equipment/furnishings were all incomparable! BUT most importantly the care, attention, and genuine and authentic hospitality were the most remarkable. Beatrice and her mother could not have made us feel more like family and not simply renter-guests. We are only one day removed from the tender sea breeze embrace of Salina and already feeling the pull to return. I cannot imagine an Aeolian stay anywhere else as glorious as Appartmento Maria Teritza. If AirBnB gave lifetime achievement awards to hosts, Beatrice and her family should be at the very, very top of the list. So many heartfelt thanks from myself, Kirsten, and of course Dinky!

Great value stay. Very close to the beach, a supermarket next door, and the best restaurants. Very comfortable stay and suited our needs for 4 travelers.

Graziella and Filippo’s unit was impeccable. Fully equipped and above expectations. Filippo greeted us personally upon our arrival and oriented us to the condo, which was very nice. He was also readily available throughout our trip. The condo is upscale and modern and gave us plenty of room to ourselves. The view from The living room and bedrooms of the Castello di Milazzo was beautiful and I will never forget it. The balcony is very large as pictured and we enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner while taking in the view. He equipped the living room with a high quality projector and watching movies there was like an experience at a movie theatre. We also rented a mid-sized SUV (by American standards) and it was able to fit in the assigned parking space without issue. The condo is located in a prime location, nearby shopping, bakeries, restaurants, the pier, the beach and the port. I would absolutely recommend his unit and will personally try to return in the future.

Both the location is the flat were great! We had a rooftop terrace with a view on the sea and the flat was exactly as described (better looking even than on the pictures). Francesco welcomed us straight at the ferry port in Lipari and helped us to find the bus to Canetto (which by the way is a very convenient service with frequent shuttles back and forth). He showed us around the flat, informed us about the neighborhood and offered to show us around the island if we'd wanted to. Best feature of the place is probably that it's 50 meters from the beach literally! Also there's a supermarket very close which makes it convenient to cook when we did not want to eat out. All in all a great experience in the aeolian islands!

Lipari and Simone= winning paired. The property is located 2 steps (or not ?!) from the beach of Cneto, which is connected to the center by very frequent shuttles.

LIPARI May 18 to 22 We had a lovely stay. The apartment is small but very cute and it has all the necessary amenities for our stay. What was very appreciated is that we had a pasta meal and a bottle of wine waiting for us for our first dinner. We were greeted by Rebecca who helped us carry our luggage to the apartment. A small beach is close to the apartment and if you get up early enough you can admire the sunrise. It was wonderful. Patrizia the owner answered all our questions and offered us the taxi for free from the port to the apartment on our arrival. Grocery store close by and many restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

First of all, I have no words to describe Angela, a person not for good, more! I had a health problem and she did everything for me, she was close to me and never left me alone. PRICELESS AND WONDERFUL! Apartment as described: spacious, clean with double bathroom and double bedroom. Beautiful balcony. Many are close to the harbor and bus departure points. Several bars, bakeries and supermarkets in the area Everything necessary for a stay in the fabulous Milazzo, which should not be known only as a port for the Aeolian Islands. Milazzo is beautiful!

Alberto is a terrific host! He provided detailed information with pictures which helped us locate parking and the apartment. Plus, he provided booklets on Milazzo’s history and things to see and do while visiting. Very helpful! Alberto met us upon arrival to walk us through the apartment. He made us feel so comfortable and was such a delight to speak with. The apartment was perfect. The location is a 10 minute walk to the castle, 10 minute walk to ferry, 5 minute walk to the grocery store, an excellent bakery and fruit market. The view from the front room window is amazing as you watch the sunrise and harbor boat traffic. We could have stayed longer and been very happy. You will not be disappointed. Alberto and his wife provide a wonderful apartment filled with amenities and special touches that make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

The house is beautifully secluded, just two minutes away from a private lovely beach with turquoise waters, hidden between pine trees with the sound of crickets in the background... Who could ask for anything more! This is the prefect place to get away from it all, completely submerged in nature in a beautiful typical Eolien Villa. The house is well equipped and our hosts were always available, extremely welcoming and friendly and gave us wonderful insider tips to discover the island (although we could have stayed in the house our entire vacation). Definitely one of the best Airbnb's we've been to, we can't wait to return!

A simple but beautiful villa with plenty of space, several terraces and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. From there you can explore the area on foot or by car and you can discover something new every day. Be it the Castello, the Capo Milazzo or the old and new center of the city. The house is simply furnished, not up to date, but this also has its charm. Yes, there are no real showers or air conditioning, but this has been made up for by the view, the spacious garden and much more. I would like to highlight Alessandra and her family. Super friendly, helpful and respond very nicely and promptly to inquiries. Thank you for 2 great weeks in Sicily.

Extraordinary apartment, extremely well located a short walk from everything and especially on the beach. Everything was perfect, in this place time stops and you feel at home, the neighbors are extremely friendly you feel like family. The terrace is breathtaking with an amazing view, you can catch a glimpse of Stromboli smoking in the distance. The outdoor shower is a real plus. I wanted to thank the host for hosting and to Marco who made the stay even more amazing. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time out of time and rest.

Domitias place is simply beautiful. Domitia and all the people who look after this house are very kind. The views are incredible and the place is spacious and interesting. You can feel that it is a place well loved. We initially had some plumbing problems, and Domitia and her daughter were very prompt in sorting them out and proactively offered some compensation. While it could have been a stressful situation we all worked together and supported each other. I felt very welcome here and having lived in Lipari many years ago, know how exceptionally beautiful and tastefully furnished it is. I recommend this apartment and the one above wholeheartedly.

This was easily the best airbnb we’ve stayed at anywhere. It really felt like a home. It was so clean and so comfortable. The view is breathtaking and it’s such an easy walk into the piazza and greater town. Beatrice was such an amazing host. We had issues with our boat being canceled out of Palermo and she helped us get to another city to catch the boat, find long term parking and met us at the dock on arrival. She checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and just to make sure we were okay. Cannot recommend more.

The beautiful house, worth to be called a Captain‘s house (casa di un capitano del porto) has been reviewed in depth by others and everything you can read is true - hence we can keep our review short. Antonio and family are not only great hosts, they treat you as friends and the location is all you need, it is all you want from a perfect Sicilian vacation on an Aeolian island. Highly recommended!

Wonderful beachfront location, the very kind owners really made us feel at home, putting us at ease from when we arrived until we left home. The house is really nice and comfortable both for the viable location on each front, as well as because it was mezzanine, also accessible from the bedroom... equipped with every comfort and service that can be useful, there is nothing missing. Also on the condominium front, very quiet as an environment and the residents are very friendly. We hope to come back as soon as possible as we had a really good time under every front.

Apartment located in front of the sea, open the door and you already see the beaches you just have to cross the street and you have beautiful beaches at your disposal. Car parking right below the house super convenient to bring your suitcases you just have to do five grains. Nothing was missing in the house.

This was the perfect place for four adults to stay, close to the harbour, restaurants and cafes and a supermarket across the street. The apartment had everything we needed and the roof top deck was perfect for late afternoon drinks. We would love to come back but it’s a long way from Australia!

A spacious and very pleasant accommodation, with a beautiful terrace on the sea. Ideal for lovers of the sea and swimming with easy walking access to the city center, its shops and restaurants as well as the port. We had a lovely stay there, I recommend it.

Bahia was a wonderful host! Responsive and with lots of tips. The house itself has a beautiful terrace with views of Stromboli. The beach access was under repair after a storm, but we swam from the beach and can conform it is wonderful! The house is perfectly located next to restaurants the supermarket and the bus to the ferry. Would highly recommend travelling to each of the islands, each one is completely unique! Had a wonderful stay and would visit again!

Milazzo was one of our favourite places in Sicily, the apartment was located a close walk to downtown where there are many good restaurants and a beautiful sea walk. Also the beach is right across the road and was very beautiful. The apartment was had very nice bathrooms and was fairly well equipped for everything. The kitchen is small, as is the eating area and sitting area but if you are spending your time outside of the apartment it is ok. Close to the ferry terminal for travel to the Aeolian Islands. The only drawbacks are the noise from the road and the shooting range across the street. The beds were also on the soft side. Overall a good stay.
