Welcome to the Akkerhorst Pleats, located 1 km outside the Frisian village of Lollum. The farm is part of a dairy farm where we milk cows. The living area is available for rent. The front house has a 19-meter-long hall with a kitchen with sitting area, living room, shower, toilet and 3 bedrooms and a utility room. NEW the 1st floor has 1 bedroom for 2 adults with max 2 small children who can sleep in the bedstee. For 4 people who want 3 rooms, there is an additional charge of 25 euros per night. The studio has a kitchen with fridge, induction cooktop, coffee maker, kettle and complete set of pans and dishes. The bathroom has a spacious shower, sink, and toilet. The studio is quietly located and yet right in the city center with all the amenities within walking distance. 2 free bicycles are included.

For those who enjoy being surrounded by nature, this peaceful chalet is the ideal place to relax. The chalet is very private and set in an orchard of just over a third of a hectare. (A pûnsmiet is an old Friesian word for a third of a hectare). It is a perfect place for those who want to indulge their creativity in writing or drawing. The beautiful views towards the dyke and into the orchard are unique in this Friesian landscape, where the sunsets are spectacular and ever changing.

In the middle of our fruit tree garden at our small-scale horse farm is this cozy Tiniehouse. Beautiful unobstructed views of the countryside with grazing herd of horses, sheep and cows. Fully equipped on a small surface: Delicious double sofa bed with topper. Table + chairs, kitchenette: 2 burner induction hob, microwave, coffee maker & kettle. Toilet is located in the stable at 25 meters. Washing can be done with hot water (5 liter boiler) and 2x shower bag for outdoor showering.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. We are very proud because we build it ourselves, attached to an old roulette (from 1943). With wood stove, kitchenette, toilet, fixed bed (1,80x1,80) and private garden on a lively farm with animals and nature. No polished yard, but charm, freedom, and peace. Bring your own towels, pillowcases, and double duvet cover. A neighboring pipowagen is also available. Explore the Frisian farmer land, near Franeker and the Wadden Sea.

Our cottage is cozily furnished and equipped with many comforts. There is a kitchenette with a 1-burner electric stove. At the back of the cottage is a terrace on the water. Here you can enjoy the setting sun in the evening. Furthermore, the cottage has a cozy outdoor fireplace, with which you can sit comfortably. You can book breakfast for 10 euros per person. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this. For 5 euros you have a basket full of wood.

Between the green plains of the Friesche Menaldum you will find the uniquely built Tiny Farm House with veranda including hot tub. It is adjacent to a traditional 1880s farmhouse. Since 1980, farmer Folkert has run the dairy farm where 110 cows are milked. Relax in the hot tub or take a dip in the nearby swimming pond. Take the ferry to Terschelling or Vlieland for a day. Visit the capital Leeuwarden or hop on your bike and explore the area.
