Monthly Rentals in Waiau Pa

Our third stay here, a private getaway for my wife and me. Can't get enough of the peaceful location with awesome views. We visited the birds in the nearby aviary; they're quite the characters and very chatty! 😊

Was a warm and cozy suite. Easy to get into had everything we needed from heating wifi tv good kitchen and bathroom and was close to town. Brownies were great as well. Would stay again maybe in the warmer months the beaches were a bit cold this time of year :)

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Bree offered to help us with anything we needed, and was very friendly. There was even a little bag of doggy treats waiting for our wee pup, which was extremely thoughtful. Although it was only a short stay, we were very happy and comfortable. Such great hosts.

We had a really lovely, though too short stay at Michelle’s place. She and her husband did a really phenomenal job setting up this beautiful peaceful little paradise. The cottage itself is extremely clean, comfortable, modern, spacious and well-appointed. The farm and gardens are beautiful with all of the different fruit trees and animals to visit with. There’s a nice short trail through native bush which we enjoyed, and soaking in the outdoor bathtub under the stars was a really relaxing experience. The hosts couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating, they were a pleasure to meet and chat with and also added some nice extra touches like fresh eggs from their hens, fresh fruits from their trees, and also accommodated a last-minute and early check-in after we arrived in Auckland early in the morning after a long journey. Would highly recommend this place to anybody and hope to come back sometime!
