Cottage holiday rentals in Waikato River

Excellent stay and so close to everything. Easy check in and clear communication made everything seamless. Would recommend staying again. Only thing we did not use was the hot tub as we were unsure when it was cleaned or maintained last. All else was perfect!

The most caring host I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb, very understanding and kind, this will be the only place I’ll come back to stay at when I’m back with my family in Rotorua, next time my wife will do all the booking ;) lol

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage! Quite spacious for us as we had our 8 month old daughter with us. Porta cot fitted nicely into the room. The spa was a nice touch to come home and end the night with after spending the day with friends and family. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a small, quiet and private cottage. We hope to be back soon 😊

I had a wonderful time staying here. The house was lovely, spacious, and conveniently located to many different things. Samantha was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot tub each night we stayed. Very relaxing getaway! We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we can, the next time we visit the area!

Great little cottage in beautiful surroundings, not far from Hamilton or Cambridge

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

What a lovely place to stay! Very cute cottage with everything you need for a relaxing visit in Taupo. Sally-Ann was a great host, being very flexible and accomodating of our extra needs with twin babies. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place! The location is super convenient, grocery store and good playground just up the road. Main town just a bit beyond that in the opposite direction. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and having off street parking was convenient. Thank you Vicki we had a wonderful stay

Had a great stay with our dog, baby and toddler. Felt right at home - nice touches like milk, body wash and leaving alpaca food for our son. Jo and Tim were super helpful with any Taupō related recommendations. Can't wait to come enjoy your beautiful cottage again in summer :)

This house is across the street from the beautiful, long, sand Papamoa beach! Also walking distance to restaurants and surf board rentals and lessons! we loved loved loved the house. It has beautiful old wood floors, a claw foot tub, and lots of antique details. It also has front and rear decks - wonderful for outside dining - we had breakfast in the front in the sun, and dinner at the nice table in the back. We will stay there again!

Nadia's 1920's cottage is a real gem, beautifully maintained, original ceilings etc etc. Very quiet home to stay in (no creaking floor boards etc), and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was fully stocked with condiments, breakfast, and all the utensils you could possibly require. There is a fireplace, massive heat pump, other heaters, and also an electric blanket on the queen bed. Couldn't wish for a lovelier place to stay, would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay, it was the perfect base to do all the things on our list at Waihi Beach. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had all the things we could need, a great little home away from home.

Delwyn's bach is so lovely. We felt right at home. The homemade bread and breakfast was delicious and a nice treat. The location is good, about 15 minutes away from the central Tauranga area - just tucked away enough to feel like a proper escape. Delwyn is very friendly, helpful and overall an amazing host.

Defs recommend staying at this cozy little cottage. So quiet and relaxing, great location. Added bonus is the hosts are quite generous, having provided coffee, tea, milk, cereal, fruits, eggs and all the condiments needed. Would book again.

We loved it, close to some great walks by the river. Clean and tidy, off street parking. Just what we needed for a weekend getaway.
