An amazing stay at this beautiful Lodge, the hot tub and stunning views made it even better

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

Unbelievable stay. I am a sucker for romantic hideaways with hot tubs! Have done loads but this place trumps everyone! My partner’s birthday- Katie decorated it as a surprise! Did not expect that. Luxurious, beautiful little touches throughout the lodge. The views to die for. Extremely comfortable. Perfect nights sleep. Quiet. Planning to return soon as want to visit Castleton and hope valley. Definitely well worth booking ❤️

Staying at Emma's lodge was an absolute delight! We were looking for a remote getaway with a hot tub, and this ticked the boxes perfectly. The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled on a charming farm, the lodge offered stunning views and a real sense of calm. One of the unexpected highlights? The friendly cows who wandered over to say hello around 11pm, it was such a sweet and memorable moment! Emma was a wonderful host, and everything about the stay felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, rural setting.

We’ve just returned from Lapwing Lodge. Beautiful location, very peaceful and the facilities were everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and the hottub was a great bonus. Arrived to a very easy check in and we were even given until midday to leave on the departure date. Would definitely be interested in returning in the future.

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday, it was lovely getaway and break from life itself. A stunning view from the room and Hot tub. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. As well as the accommodation was very clean and tidy. There’s pubs, restaurants and walks close by and the whole surrounding area feels safe, secure and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who was looking at a peaceful getaway.

Value for money very clean and tidy everything is there just sit back enjoy the surroundings and enjoy the complimentary bottle of fizzy in the hot tub

What a beautiful lodge, set in a beautiful place! The site was absolutely lovely. Everything you needed the lodge had. The instructions booklet was very helpful as we had 3 children with us and a dog so looking for activities to suit us all. Overall a lovely stay, we will most definitely be returning maybe just the grown ups this time lol for abit more of a relax xx

We loved our stay here. The place was extremely clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a few days. The outdoor area is great, and even when it wasn't that warm we were able to put the fire table on and feel snug. Pete was a brilliant host...he responded quickly to messages and instructed us on how finding the place. He has a very friendly and well-behaved dog, who came over to chill with us while we were lounging outside which was nice. Although the other accommodation is fairly close to this one and there were guests there, we couldn't hear anything and it still felt very private.

We had a lovely little stay here. Perfect with two children and a great location to explore everything we wanted to explore in York and surrounding areas. Charlie checked in a few times to see if we had everything we needed, which was very kind. The caravan was lovely and clean and had everything in you could need for a few days away.

Just returned home from a lovely night away with my two sons age 8 and 15. With the age gap between my boys i find it hard to find things we can all enjoy, most of the time my eldest doesn't want to participate in anything other than going out with his friends and his computer. The Lodge was the perfect place for us all to spend time together, with the hot tub and hammock being the favourite part for both boys. We toasted marshmallows in the fire pit as the sun went down which we all had fun doing. We all had a lovely night away from everything, making memories as a family which is priceless. Thank you to hosts James and Victoria for making our stay so perfect :)

We had an incredible 2 night stay at the cabin. It exceeded our expectations and was the perfect location to unwind and relax. We took our paddleboards and spent the weekend on the lake with them and the dogs had an amazing time too. The cabin was clean, freshly decorated and had everything you would need for a short stay. A hidden gem - we would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning! Thank you for having us!

Stunning cabin, perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. We booked this trip to celebrate my partners’ birthday and travelled on bikes via train. Little Croft was easy to find via directions and is easily accessible from Hope train station. On arriving, we found the accommodation was exactly as pictured, with a gorgeous, Pinterest worthy interior - which we loved how thoughtfully designed it was, and immaculately clean too. And oh my the view! it was everything we hoped for. 🥰We also appreciated the kitchen being stocked with tea, coffee and milk, and shower gel being provided too was a lovely touch. Jon and Kate were great hosts, really friendly and responsive and offered lots of local recommendations and cycling routes for us. We were also offered shelter for our bikes which we were really grateful for. Overall, we were really impressed with this stay and felt really comfortable staying here. Would absolutely recom

Ideal location for transport links to the city centre, easy check in process even with us arriving later, exactly what we needed

The lodge was fantastic and the location was very tranquil and peaceful. Our first ever glamping experience and it was amazing, will definitely be going back. The standard and attention to detail was second to none. The welcome pack with the local recommendations was really helpful and the local pub was lovely and only a 20 minute walk away. The fenced off area at the front of the lodge was a really good addition to allow the dog to run free.

We headed to York for a family reunion We were delighted when we entered the property it was so clean and comfortable We had a walk round the lake which was beautiful It was even better when we found out that it was only a ten minute drive to my cousins home where the venue was being held We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it

recently back from a 5 night stay had everything we needed in the lodge and in a perfect location within easy access of everything we wanted to visit..will definitely be recommending to family and friends....5* accommodation

We had such a lovely stay! Location was great for short and long walks and we were able to make the most of the spa access on rainy days which made our stay extra special. Ashley kept us updated on things we needed and left us a few treats which was very kind. Thank you - the 4 of us had a great long weekend and would definitely consider staying again 😊

Paul’s place is exactly as he advertises, a fun and comfortable man cave (though women are allowed too!). The pull-out bed was comfortable for my gf and me. The place was clean, the TV was big, the underfloor heating worked, and most importantly for us, we were able to bring our dog with us. Not many other places in Sheffield let you do that, so it was a perfect place for our stay.
