Lauras place was beautiful, her instructions on finding the place were perfect and the parking spot is a plus! Being conveniently close to the park and ride to get into York centre was very good! Laura has utilised the space wonderfully, it’s beautifully presented and the outside area is a bonus to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The place itself was beautiful and very well equipped, with snacks, coffee, tea, milk and bathroom accessories (shampoo, soap etc) beautiful towels and bedding and even an air cooler. Huge TV with Netflix and Disney. Everything was perfect. Very clean. We will definitely be returning! Thank you

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

We had the best stay. Shelia responded straight away when I txt her to say there was no tv reception and she sorted it very quickly. The scones were delicious as was the jam and cream to go with them. The whole flat was so cosy and comfortable. Parking was very easy also. Very close to Knaresborough town centre and a good walking distance away. You can adjust the heating very easily if cold. I would 100% stay here again. The stairs to get down to the flat are quite steep so just be weary of this if you struggle with steps but I have MS and I managed without too much trouble. The bed is also so comfortable. My husband had I had a great night sleep. 😀

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Ebor Suite and wished it was for longer. Beautiful decor and everything you need for a short stay. Great detailed instruction for check in. Close to a co-op if you need a few supplies and plenty of restaurants and takeaways. We would certainly return and would recommend to others.

We stayed 2 nights for a local wedding and it was perfect for what we needed! Zoe was very responsive when I had questions and resolved a quick query promptly. The beds were very comfortable and had everything you need for a great weekend away. Zoe even provided welcome drinks, snacks and a cot/highchair for my young daughter, a huge help! If you’re sensitive to light, bring an eye mask as there’s no black out blinds in the master, and the bathroom is quite small if you have mobility issues, but this wouldn’t stop me from staying again or recommending. Thanks Zoe!

A lovely and comfortable stay. Driveway big enough to fit a van. Easy to find and access, loads of space in the house.

Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

Kizzie’s place is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for my husband and I. Didn’t need the car at all and the centre is just a few minutes walk away. Lots of bars, cafes, restaurants to choose from and lovely little shops to browse in. We went to the cinema too which is a few minutes walk away and had a lot of character. Beautiful surroundings, lovely walks down the canal or sit in Kissie’s garden. Bed was so comfy and we slept so well. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

A lovely place to stay, we all really enjoyed our time here. The welcome basket was very generous and much appreciated. The house is just as described and as seen in the photos... perfect. Highly recommend! Really friendly and accommodating hosts. It was so peaceful, the location is really lovely! Felt like a cosy little retreat! I mentioned it was my husband’s birthday and we were greeted with a lovely cold bottle of white wine which was such a lovely touch! We enjoyed it outside in the sun listening to the birds. Everything you need in a stay.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was great and walkable to the York sites. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again if we are in York again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. My husband and I had a fantastic stay in the Annexe - the flat is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you could need for a short stay. Paul and Rosie were very communicative and helpful in the run up to our trip and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay here again next time we’re in Poynton!

Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

We had a lovely stay. The property was small & cosy with everything we needed. Great location just far enough to be peaceful but easy to reach the centre of Knaresborough & the waterside. Chris gave great recommendations for local food & drinks & we loved the Mitre for food & had a great night with live music in Track & Sleeper just next door. Loved the view from our bedroom window, we saw a deer & woke up to the birds singing! The staircase took a bit of getting used to 😀 but I loved it!!

Outstanding! For two travellers Eleanor's quiet haven in York is a gem. Location is ideal being easy walking to/from the hubbub of central York with an elegant setting in leafy quiet retreat after our busy days within the city walls. Furnished tastefully with a period feel, though modern in layout and fit out. Attention to detail with everything awaiting our stay was exceptional.
