Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Waldeck-Frankenberg

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. Like two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The area is also great, there are a lot of nice activities. We missed the no longer existing hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or description), but otherwise everything was great. We had a great stay! Easy communication with the host, lovely, clean and spacious home and plenty to do in the area.

The accommodation is extremely high quality. Beautiful furniture and a well-equipped kitchen make it easy to feel right at home. 🙏🏽 The communication in advance was super good and everything was as described. I would definitely recommend it. If you arrive with several cars, then definitely check out the parking situation in advance, there are only 2 parking spaces at the house.

Great beautifully renovated accommodation, really well equipped for families with children, great location with great playground next door and cowshed around the corner, where the children could run to themselves. We were there with two families with a total of 5 small children. Super lovely hostess, who provided us with extra bed linen and chairs and always responds quickly to messages. Thank you Carolin!

The accommodation was completely clean upon arrival and the beds neatly made. Almost everything speaks for itself. The center is within walking distance and if you walk down the driveway you have a view of Winterberg. Olaf was very friendly and offered us a place to store the mountain bikes. All in all, it was great!

We were on vacation with a group of good friends. Very nice cottage with small sauna. Particularly noteworthy is the quiet location! It was a really nice, relaxing break. Exactly what we were expecting! :)

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super happy and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The Bach was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this great place! 🏡 The apartment was very cozy, clean and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel at home. The contact with the hosts was super friendly, uncomplicated and warm – thank you very much! 😊 We were particularly pleased that pets are allowed. That was also the reason why we chose this accommodation - and we were not disappointed! Our four-legged friend also felt completely comfortable. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and perfect for relaxing or for excursions. We will be happy to come back! 🌟

A very nice, thoughtfully furnished and incredibly clean apartment. Even though the kitchen is not very large, there is still everything you need for the usual cooking and eating. Particularly beautiful is the outdoor area directly on top of and overlooking a lush garden. Karl-Heinz was very helpful and happy to advise you on possible things to do in the area.

We spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment with three moms and three children ages 2, 3 and 6. We had a great time and we didn't miss anything. The apartment is super well equipped (bed linen, towels etc. great, games, books, super many kitchen and household items, spacious rooms, great living / dining area, beautiful balcony with great views and sunset, 2 sparkling clean bathrooms, travel cot, outage protection, children's high chairs, parking space, garage, ...). What you might need to know with children: the two attic windows cannot be 100% darkened, but have shutters. There is a lot to do with children in the area. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

The communications with Thomas was easy and quick We went for a long weekend in Winterberg to attend a bike festival and competition The appartment is located right next to the ski/bike park so really easy Everything we needed was there - Linens towels and the beds are really comfortable The appartment is within a big building - although probably a lot of rentals it was really quiet and we felt safe The access to the parking is not so direct but it is secure. Be careful it is 2m height max We would definitely stay here again

I am a repeat offender with Natalie and Sebastian :) A few years ago I was there with a friend and now with a partner. Since the apartment was still occupied, we booked the smaller one. But they contacted us when the larger one became available and we were able to rebook. The kitchen had new appliances and everything was sparkling clean. You have to drive a moment to the Edersee and in the immediate vicinity there is nothing "special" but everything to take care of yourself. :) Hiking and exploring are just a few minutes away. But that's perfectly fine, too. We will be happy to come back. ♡

Our stay in Tina's apartment was exactly as we had imagined, we were very satisfied and felt comfortable. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing and perfect for short stays. Tina is very nice, helpful and quick to reach.

Fantastic apartment in a great environment. We spent 2 nights here with our two children (3 and 8) and explored Fritzlar, the National Park and Kassel Wilhelmshöhe from there. The children especially liked the playground right next to the house and Wolfgang and Simone are great hosts! The old rectory is beautiful! We will be happy to come back.

We loved the apartment. We felt right at home. The bedding was cuddly and smelled fresh. The box spring bed is super comfortable, as is the sleeping couch in the living room. Towels and toilet paper were sufficiently available. Also coffee, spices, oils ect in the kitchen. We particularly liked the small garden and the tranquility in the surrounding area. Shopping facilities are sufficiently available in the town. In a few minutes you are at Lake Edersee. Thank you Licinio for the wonderful stay!

We had a nice short break in Ottlar. The children were thrilled with the apartment and the extras for the children. Toniebox, home cinema and Lego were loved and the great new playground across the street was also great for our three (1, 3, 6 years). It was great that everything else was there for the children, so that we didn't have to carry so much. And if there was any ambiguity, Sebastian was very easy to reach. Thank you for the wonderful time out, which was as relaxed as it can be with 3 small children.

We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb for the second time and relaxed nicely, enjoyed the view of Hercules, were happy about the loving address of the hostess, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen and slept very well. We'll be back for sure! Kassel is a great city! And the apartment invites you to linger.

We stayed at Merle's cottage for 2 nights due to a wedding we had there. The cottage is very nicely located right in the center but still quiet. It is very cozy, tasteful and very clean. Sufficient parking space in the neighbourhood.

It was fine to stay. Nice bathroom and the rest was also completely fine. Quick and neat, we were quite late with booking but it was all no problem. Very quickly and kindly helped. Thank you

We were super satisfied and very happy to be guests. The outdoor area was also particularly beautiful. Everything as described, very nicely furnished:) Even a short-term change (my nephew came spontaneously) was no problem, thank you very much again :)
