Holiday rentals with a kayak in Waldo County

Tina was a great host, and very accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions I had. The AirBnB was really nice and cozy.

Meet our needs for a two day visit to Liberty- pre-Summer Solstice. Although lat night the Strawberry Full Moon… I did spot a Loon in the lake. Lovely trek to the lakeside on Lake St. George on a path.

The house was an amazing location! We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets while grilling dinners in the evenings! The house was very clean and Robert was a great host. I mess him to ask if there was an axe on site. He responded that there wasn’t but that he would get firewood for us the next morning. It was so awesome to sit around the fire at night and hear the loons calling. It was very relaxing. We had to travel at least an hour to do the site seeing we wanted to do but we expected that. Overall was great and I’d recommend the house to others!!

Absolutely recommend, terrific spot, very calm and peaceful. Gena's house met our every need, everything was easy to access. The location was very near Belfast Maine, nice community with great restaurants and beautiful waterfront scenery. We'd rent again sometime for sure.

Our group of friends and family really enjoyed staying at this peaceful winter getaway house! We are already talking about coming back up in the summertime. The toys and games made my kids so happy and kept them well-entertained. Perfect amount of space for our big group! Lori was flexible and responsive, a wonderful host! Thank you again 🛷

We had a very nice stay at Mill House! Patrick and Martha were quick to respond to my messages. We had a very rainy weekend and they gave great recommendations to help our stay in Belfast be memorable! The house was clean and comfortable and we loved birdwatching every morning with our coffee on the back deck. Simply beautiful! Thank you for a great stay!

Leslie’s home is exactly that, cozy, spacious, beautiful, peaceful, but above all it feels like a real home. Leslie was welcoming and gracious, she went above and beyond, I would certainly consider her a friend after staying there. I highly recommend this spot!

Moon Loon cottage was quiet and peaceful and Lake St George was a gorgeous place to spend our holiday. The lake-water is so clean and clear, and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking every day.

Waking up each morning to the light on the lake, we heard the loons, watched the fog go out, and enjoyed the quiet. The cottage sits 30 feet from the water, we loved sitting on the dock to watch the sunset. It is well-equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Our family had a lovely stay at the Lupine Cottage. Such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed getting out on the water in the kayaks and sitting out in the Adirondack chairs listening to the loons and barred owls call. Nice central location for exploring Acadia and the mid coast. Thanks Kim & Stacy for the precious memories!

A comfortable stay with lots of character! The area was beautiful and the listing included helpful advice about area amenities.

Great person, she really went over and above what she would have been expected. The dock with boats were great, my boys love the lake. The place was clean and very well decorated. Lots of extra appliances. Washer and dryer is very nice when you are on a lake. Nothing to complain about. If you stay here and especially if you have kids you will be very happy.

Heidi's Place is a very cute lakeside cottage. It was immaculately clean and had all the things we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place, we were visited by 7 loons! It was great having access to 5 kayaks to paddle on the lake and some of us even went swimming (the end of September in Maine).

Steven was a great host, including checking on us and providing candles when the power went out! A lovely home base to explore the region.

Amenities were perfect for what we needed, some peaceful R+R. The space was clean and inviting. Fishing off the dock was amazing.

Our stay in Sharon’s camp overlooking Halfmoon Pond was wonderful. It was peaceful, the setting beautiful and the camp equipped with everything, and more than, we needed. We had plenty of towels, linens, blankets. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked one to two meals a day and had everything we needed. We never needed or wanted anything that Sharon didn’t have. Sharon was a great host. She checked in with us, quickly offered a solution when mother nature created an issue, offered suggestions on places to eat, shared where we could find the closest grocery store, and, most importantly, created a comfortable home away from home. It’s a little slice of Heaven that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again, and again and again. [We visited from a small town in East Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains.]

Amazing place to stay. The lake was beautiful. So many awesome places to sit and relax. Cabin was quaint but had everything needed. We rarely spend time at our airbnb (prefer to go adventure) but we chose to spend a whole day there canoeing and relaxing as it was so amazing.

Ashlie’s camp is a perfect peaceful getaway! This was our third stay with our pups. The serenity of this lake is unmatched. The loons are also a cool experience for those that have never heard their calls. The cabin is clean, equipped with everything needed, and has upgrades each time we visit! The lot is far enough away from other cabins for privacy, neighbors are friendly. The lake is very quiet, even during holiday weekends. We loved our stay here!

Tara's house was clean and well explained. We would love to stay there again when its warmer and we can enjoy the outdoors more.

We had a fantastic and peaceful week at the Liberty Retreat. We spent every day down on the waterfront, and there was so much to explore on the pond. We paddled around in the kayak and very comfortable canoe (it has backrests!) that were provided and brought our own paddleboards. It was also nice to be able to go out to the floating dock to swim or just catch some more afternoon sun. Our dog had a blast swimming and laying out on the dock and porches, and she quickly adapted to the stairs inside. We also appreciated all the dog towels Al provided, along with lots of other thoughtful touches! The house was so clean when we got there, and everything worked great! We would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy getaway.
