Welcome to Keuka lake in this beautiful home that boasts 3 master suites. The living room has a panoramic view of Keuka Lake. There is a deck off the top floor and a patio off the first floor to sit and enjoy the lake view as well. From the downstairs patio you are only a few steps to the beach. At the end of the dock the lake is only 3 feet deep so it’s excellent for swimming. Everything in this house is new and very clean. We are a mile from downtown Penn Yan.

Great remote spot about 10 minutes from downtown Hanmondsport. Stacey was very proactive in communicating with us. There was a considerable amount of rain prior to our stay so she worked very hard to make sure the driveway was cleared for us to drive through. (The driveway is wooded leading up to the house.) It’s a cozy spot, great for just a few people. The view was great on the back deck and made for relaxing starts to the morning.

We had a wonderful, time on Waneta lake. One couple particularly enjoyed coffee and a fire on the patio, followed by a paddle in the kayak. Restaurants, parks and waterfalls filled our days. The porch was a favorite place to debrief from the day and enjoy the view. One night, we were even treated with a strawberry moon!

We had a great time at this beautiful lake house. While there are close neighbors, they are quiet and the lakefront area feels very private thanks to the trees. The kayaking and rowboat were a lot of fun. The house has quality furnishings and newer appliances. When we had a concern arise (through no fault of the owners), Mary responded immediately even though it was nearly 10 pm. She made the situation right as soon as humanly possible (first thing in the morning) and her husband actually drove all the way from Pennsylvania to check in with us, though we didn't ask or expect this. While he was there he also installed a new lakefront ladder and chatted with us about area attractions. I highly recommend this home and especially these hosts, who truly care about their guests' experience.

The cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs, who travel with us often. We loved walking the trail and down the road and around the pond. My husband and I enjoyed the seating area at the pond and firepit. Communication was stellar with Danielle and Matt! We will return!

We ultimately decided on Shizuka’s location due to its proximity to local vineyards. It’s very well-situated in regards to Keuka Lake. Nice sunset views over the lake and mountains. Overall very happy with our stay for 3 nights with an infant.

Amazing stay and location, almost don't want to write this review to keep it a secret. The cabin was the perfect layover in between adventures in the finger lakes, and the firepit was extremely cozy. The cabin is no frills but extremely comfortable, the bed is great and i slept like a baby. The trail up the gorge with several waterfalls and the old cemetery at the top was the icing on the cake. I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time during our visit. The cabin was secluded and private. Great location to hit wineries and breweries for us, we were within an hour or so of everything we wanted to do(we are used to a 20-30 minute drive on a daily basis for groceries). My favorite was the seating area on the dock overlooking the lake.
