Family-friendly holiday rentals in Warten

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozy house with plenty of space. The garden was a relief: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

We had a fantastic weekend at 't Holthus! An oasis of peace, surrounded by beautiful nature and with all the comfort you could wish for. The cottage was stylishly furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. The hot tub was of course a highlight. The warm welcome and personal touches of the owners made our stay extra special. Perfect for recharging for a while.

In 2016, I already spent a weekend with friends in the Coach House. I liked that, so just booked again. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sjoerd and Jeltsje. Fresh eggs, flowers and a welcome card on the table. The Carriage House is an oasis of peace just a few minutes from Dokkum. Behind the cottage you can enjoy the beautiful view from the wind in the spring sun. Also nice that we were free to take a look in the stables. In the evening we had a nice glass of wine in the hot tub. The downside was the extra cost; the hot tub was more expensive than listed on Airbnb and it was also not indicated that we had to pay extra for the towels (€15 for 5). Too bad, because we would have brought them ourselves. Nevertheless, it is and remains a great place to relax and enjoy.

The house is sensational. Very impressive high rooms, huge and very tastefully furnished. There is everything you need. You can park right in front of the house. Just right for our family trip (10 person). We wanted a quiet house near the North Sea. Sandra and Nic are great host. We can all recommend the house.

We had a wonderful relaxing family weekend in a beautiful house with a wonderful garden. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and equipped with all comforts.

We were there for 4 nights over Pentecost. Everything is as shown in the pictures or as described. We were particularly pleased with a few board games, Lego and puzzles as it was very rainy. Everything was clean and fully functional. At the beginning, we noticed a slightly musty smell and let the shower and the washing machine run a little. After that, everything was good. Sufficient towels were available as well as soap, detergent, spices, etc. I especially liked the tasteful interior and of course the Jacuzzi. Even the rain didn't matter. I'd love to do it again.

Marlies is a wonderful hostess! As a cyclist, I was particularly pleased about the safe parking for my bike overnight. After a long day, I was able to relax wonderfully on the cozy couch next to the fireplace - a really pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is top equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was very clean and lovingly prepared. Overall a great place to stay where you feel right at home. I'd love to come back!

Had a great stay. We stayed here a weekend with 2 people. Everything is present. Neat and clean. Best on a busy street, but it's quiet at night. Parking in a parking garage or at P&R outside the city center. Eating places plenty in the neighborhood Center within walking distance. For 1 day there is breakfast, more than enough. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us, otherwise there is a small backyard and a bike rental opposite.

What a wonderful place Pean Outside is! Beautiful, warm, cozy cottages, built with an eye for nature and the surroundings. Beautiful views, the food forest, an eye for nature & environment (building material of the cottages, waste separation, food reuse, cottages built on "poles", bird feed spots etc)...everything is thought of. Natasja is also a nice, welcoming host, with an eye for her guests. I'll definitely be back here!

Beautiful accommodation along the route of the Drenthepad. We were allowed to park the car there in the morning and bring our luggage in, then walk to Westerbork and back to the cottage. Delicious breakfasts. Jacinta has put a lot of love into it. The cheese fondue was also delicious. Furthermore, a beautiful, quiet garden. Lots of privacy, but still safe in the yard. I'm sure I'll be back. Beautiful surroundings for biking and hiking. Cooking for yourself is difficult, but with a little creativity, it can be solved.

Lydia is a fantastic host. She greeted us personally and gave us helpful tips. Fresh croissants were ready to welcome us.😍 The room is idyllic and quiet, right next to a historic mill, only 10 minutes by bike, which are provided on site, from the city center. In the kitchen there is everything you need. Overall, a very nice stay. We would come back.

We liked the stay in the small, cozy cottage with Niek and Joke very much again. The garden is very beautiful and it is always interesting to watch the chickens in the barn.

We felt super comfortable in Hil's apartment. It is located in a quiet, beautiful side street, 10 minutes' walk from the city center. The apartment is lovingly furnished, the kitchen is super functional, the beds are comfortable. The garden is the cherry on top! Communication with Hil went perfectly! She was accessible and straightforward at all times. Thank you!! Looking forward to the next stay :-D

It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't spend much time inside. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

The location is amazing. Right on the water, in the middle of a nature reserve the Weerribben. Really quiet. Entering the house you feel like you take a step down in time. The house is complete with washing machine, dryer, large fridge etc

Our first Airbnb experience and it couldn't be better. The stay is perfect. Beautiful, spacious, neat, clean and all necessities and more are present. Clear and quick responses to questions. Next year again!

We felt very comfortable in the chalet from the beginning and had a great vacation. The chalet is very appealing and well equipped, so we also cooked a lot. The location of the campsite is very good. Communication with Marinus was very straightforward. We also liked the fact that we could use the season ticket for the outdoor pool at the campsite and went swimming every morning. Ameland is a beautiful island. We can really recommend the chalet.

What a super cozy and cozy chalet. Very nicely decorated and a beautiful location by the water. Renting a sloop is a fantastic naturalness in Friesland, but we have also enjoyed the cycling routes and the crossing with the many ferries. I'd love to come back!!!
