The property is located in the pretty little village of Bainton situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds close to many tourist destinations such as Beverley, Hull, York and the east coast. The cottage has a private gravelled garden area with outdoor furniture, set within one acre of private land and includes off road parking. We welcome two well behaved dogs but they must not be left unattended.

We had a great overnight stay! It was clean, peaceful and just what we needed. Liesa was incredibly welcoming and proactive with communication throughout. The location was perfect for us, especially since we were attending a wedding nearby, it made everything so convenient.

We had a wonderful anniversary break at Bluebell. Sammy and Jo were friendly, helpful and very accommodating and the little touches like treats for the dog were very much appreciated. This is a true peaceful idyll with a gorgeous beach in walking distance and surrounded by wildlife including rabbits, sheep, deer, and pheasants. Sammy’s guide book is particularly helpful and we had a spectacular meal out at The Farrier as per her recommendation. A beautiful location and wonderful hosts!

Lovely lodge, chickens eggs were lush. Squirrels were friendly. Pub was just a 5 minute walk. Best sleep we have had in ages. Good for york, scarborough, whitby and other attractions. Would definately go again.

The Barn was a stunning home from home, the home was spotless and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

Stunning little cottage with great views. House was perfectly laid out, had more than enough stuff to be comfortable. It was very well insulated and Richard was very generous with the heating. The underfloor heating in the en-suites were a god-send too, allowed for comfortable showers and quick drying of clothes as our 6 month old was getting through a lot of them! Plenty of room for both of the kids to play and relax, smart TV allowed us to stream whatever we wanted (no paid subscriptions available, but you can log yourselves in). Basically, we loved it here and it will be our go-to for visiting our family on the east coast. Thank you very much for having us, we look forward to our next stay!
