The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. Cosy cottage with parking

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Cute and cosy self catering accommodation located on a working hill farm in the Western Lake District National Park. We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.
