Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Washington Heights, Manhattan

My friend and I came to town to catch a NWSL game in Harrison. This spot was perfect! Walkable to the arena and to Newark Penn. Katie is an amazing host! She was responsive and friendly and helped to make us feel welcome. Her place is beautiful and cool.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our family of 5 relaxed and slept comfortably after long days of walking in New York City. The 123 bus from the Port Authority was really easy to take to Manhattan. It was so convenient having the grocery store right near the Air BnB and the people in the neighborhood were really friendly. We loved the Puerto Rican and Dominican snacks at the store and the community feel of this neighborhood. Thanks!

Very clean and cozy, the shower and hot water was great, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Parking serves a bit of a challenge, but not to hard to find a street spot. Felt pretty safe in the area and would definitely stay again!

The apartment was beautifully renovated, quiet, and comfortable. Its location is ideal, with easy access to shops, cafes, and restaurants, and it's right next to the Aqueduct Trail. Jay was responsive and quick to address all of my questions. We were sorry our stay was so short, but we definitely plan to return for a longer visit!.

Excellent Stay – Thoughtful Hosts and Great Location I had a very pleasant stay with Shelly and Abe. They thoughtfully prepared everything I might need—coffee, snacks, cooking oil, laundry pods, and more. Most hosts only provide the basics, but I didn’t have to buy anything extra myself this time. They even left a bottle of red wine, which made me feel especially welcome. The location is also very convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Newark Penn Station. If you're heading to downtown Jersey City or Manhattan, the PATH train is the most common and efficient option. There are also some light rail stations nearby, though I didn’t use them during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place—especially for those who plan to cook or need easy access to public transportation.

This is an amazing Airbnb! It’s modern, clean, and the location is superb. I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend!

Nice place close to places to eat, nice little coffee shop real close and easy walk to train that goes to New York.

Clean home with all basic needs, in a quiet location close to the train and ferry. The only negative was that there was no TV or living room area in this home. This is a non issue if you plan to be outside more than inside.

Where do I begin with Kings Airbnb? From the time I booked his Airbnb he communicated with me well. Upon arriving to the Airbnb there was lots of parking and easy access to the unit. When you walk into King's Airbnb you are greeted with beautiful Decor in every room. King's Airbnb will definitely be one I will revisit in the near future.

Really easy to navigate. Central to a lot of things. Really enjoyed going to Birdy’s across the street for a drink at night. Safe and walkable neighborhood. Beautiful space where I felt relaxed and right at home! Bonus points because the bed was so so comfortable:)

We loved our stay in Helen’s apartment. Location - just far enough away from Times Square - but within walking distance. Lots of amenities close by. The apartment is so very comfortable.

Place was very nice and clean! Looked exactly like the pictures. Getting into the was very easy instructions were very clear! Parking was a little difficult but David did explain that prior to my visit other then that everything was great! I will be booking again when I’m coming back to the area

Great location, and spotlessly clean! The bedrooms get abit of noise from the street. Might bother you if you’re a light sleeper.

This was such a nice stay. It was a great stay because the space was more than enough to accommodate my wife and I along with our daughter, as well as my mother in law and sister in law. It was close to grocery shopping so we were able to cook for ourselves. Plus the train to take us to New York wa literally a half block away! This is where we:lol stay ANYTIME we come to the NYC area.

This home exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my friends. We were so in awe of the beauty and cleanliness of the home as well as the friendliness of our host. The refrigerator was filled with water, all the bathrooms had toiletries. It truly felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be coming back soon. I can't say enough good things about this home and our host.

Wow, what a delightful stay! Where to begin...from the gorgeous landscaping and patio, gurgling brook right along the property, to the pristine house and freshest smelling linens and towels, we had an absolutely marvelous time!! While we were only here one night, the apartment was charming, comfortable and clean. The decor was fun and whimsical including a fun swing in the kitchen. Jhonn was very responsive and willing to take a chance on me and I appreciate that. Looking forward to more future stays!!

Stephania and Elimil have been the best hosts I have ever had! The friendliness and efficiency in their help has been in parallel to great hotels. The house is in a beautiful spot next to a park and river, yet with walking distance to super market and Westfield mall. The appliances all functioned great and updated with newest technologies. Clean and efficient house that made us feel like home. Area felt friendly and safe too.

A very comfortable, clean place in a great location. It was our third stay. Taranjeet is a super responsive and friendly host.

Karen’s place was exactly what we were looking for. Stayed a few days for a concert at MetLife, and had the easiest drive there and back. Really good restaurants nearby, as well as convenience stores/necessities. Neighborhood was very cute and extremely quiet. The space had everything we needed, plus so many comfy couches as beds. The showers had the highest water pressure I’ve ever experienced. Probably not the best place for small children because of the stairs and personal belongings. The basement is beautifully redone, and has very up to date gym equipment that I didn’t notice in the listing photos. I’d definitely recommend Karen’s place to anyone looking for a place near MetLife or just a quiet comfortable home.
