Leo’s place was exactly what we were looking for—comfortable, peaceful, and excellent value for the price. From the moment we arrived, Leo was warm and welcoming, immediately making us feel at home. The property was just as described: clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. It’s clear that Leo takes great pride in creating a positive experience for his guests. Unfortunately, due to our own time constraints, we weren’t able to fully enjoy everything the cottage and the surrounding area had to offer. That was the only downside to our stay—because this really was the perfect little home away from home. The setting was quiet and serene, ideal for a relaxing getaway, and it looked like there were plenty of interesting places to explore nearby. I only wish we had booked a longer stay—three days or more would have been perfect to truly unwind and take it all in. I’d happily return if I’m ever in the area again. Highly recommended!

Ruth's place was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Great location, easy access to the A1, pub next door and several walks on the doorstep. The annexe is very well equipped and Ruth has thought of all the extras that make the stay a real home from home and great if you've forgotten to bring anything. The private garden is lovely, even in January and a wonderful spot to watch the birds come and go. Ruth's breakfast supplies are generous and we loved how she checked in with us beforehand to find out our preferences. A fabulous find!

The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were excellent, the kitchen so perfectly stocked. The welcome gift was a pure delight and really made us feel so welcome to this home. Lovely spacious place with everything we needed and comfy beds! Very friendly hosts, we met both the parents, their lovely little boys and their gorgeous doggy. The area is really nice, so peaceful and we had a lovely meal at the Angel pub just down the road. Nice countryside for walks, and there's a playground nearby for children. The back garden of the Airbnb has loads of fabulous things for children to play on as well.
