Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Waterford

Great stay overnight, gave a great recommendation for food!

We originally booked this listing in May of 2020, but sadly were not able to make the trip due to Covid. 5 years later we finally got to stay int he lighthouse and it was well worth the wait! It was truly a magical experience, with breathtaking views and so many special little details in the house to make it feel like home. We spent 10 days in Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip!

We had an amazing stay at Margo’s place! We had planned to go out but upon arrival decided to stay in. We had take away on the back deck area and then had some fun multi generational pool games. We would highly recommend Margo’s place

It was a perfect stay. The house is central, warm and comfortable. Helena arranged for us to have an earlier check-in time which we greatly appreciated. Thanks again for that!

Susan was wonderful. Met us on our late arrival with fresh scones and a fire burning in the fireplace. Gave us recommendations for nearby experiences and also let us settle in quickly. Checked in with us to see if we had needs and were great at communication. We had a lovely time at their beautiful property.

We had a great stay at Mount Congreve, Our accommodation was excellent, clean very, comfortable beds and the interior was beautiful. Mary our host was brilliant, she was very helpful and easy to communicate with when we needed help/ advice. We hope to return in the future again.

Wonderful stay! Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Beautiful! Only a short 15-min drive from central Waterford town, but does require driving down a long narrow to access (which is beautiful, but something to be aware of). Spacious. The 2 bathrooms have everything you need and the electric showers provide immediate hot water. Not a big deal, but be aware that you can only run one shower at a time. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and also incredibly comfortable beds and living furniture. Highly recommend.

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

Dominic was very friendly and considerate, always there to help if needed. The apartment is in a great location and the views are amazing. There’s everything you need within a few minutes walk, great restaurants and bars if you like that sort of thing. There are also plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.

Such a lovely place in quiet countryside very near the sea. Comfy bed and everything made easy by friendly hosts.

Nice apartment in a lovely spot just a few footsteps from the beach. Shops and restaurants are all in walking distance and the secure parking is very handy. Willi was always easy to get in contact with and made sure everything was going well during our stay. We would stay there again!

Edward was responsive and friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a great location with lots of nice walks nearby and 2 minutes from the castle.

An Teach Beag was lovely and peaceful which was just what I needed. Geraldine was great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dara’s loft. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere. The beach was only across the road. The loft was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a great view of the water from the living space. The information Dara provided was really helpful and we tried out some of the restaurants he recommended - all were lovely!

Nice accommodations- just perfect our family of five. Our gps took us to the wrong location and Mark was helpful in getting us to the right. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Cora and her husband were fantastic hosts-her husband gave us amazing local recommendations that really made our trip special. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed, with stunning views to enjoy. It’s perfectly located-close to town with plenty of great places to eat and a pub (The Local) with brilliant live trad music. The nearby beaches were absolutely lovely. And of course, Cora’s two sweet cats and adorable little dog were the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

Barbaras lovely Dromana House is situated on a beautiful location in the Irish countryside on a cliff overlooking the river. The house itself looks even better and is beautifully furnished. Barbara is a gracious host and very quick to respond. Definitely recommend staying here when visiting the area.

The apartment is gorgeous, idyllic location and very clean. My daughter and I loved it here and can’t wait to come back. :)

I don't normally leave reviews but I had to on this. It was a fantastic experience I'm going to rebook her again. everything is close to you and feels like been at home also great view of the sea as its on ur door step. Thanks noeleen for everything.

Had a great stay here! Hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful, giving local recommendations for trips, activities and restaurants. Flat was in a good area, within walking distance to everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a lovely month and a half at Miriam's in the heart of Dungarvan. She was such a responsive kind host — we will really miss living there! Beautiful walkable location with ample amenities inside the apartment as well as in the area. Even though you're "downtown," the apartment itself is quiet and peaceful. Finding free parking nearby was never a problem. Never had any issues with the Internet either. It was a fantastic stay.

Everything went well, we had a great time.

Ruth was an absolute delight. I have not encountered a more perfect host on our trip around Ireland. Friendly but left us to our own. She was proactive when she saw us to make sure everything was good. The view was amazing. It was a little tricky to get to if you are nervous of small roads, but the place as worth everything.
