Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Waterloo

Top notch and 100% what I had envisioned. My family stayed for 3 nights and it was worth the drive. The location was remote on a farm but close enough to the city as we were able to run into the city to get any items we needed. But once you entered the gate, it felt like a nice country get away. I loved every minute of my stay and would do it again in a heartbeat. There was more than enough room for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Thank you for allowing us to host my special day. It was definitely a weekend to remember.....

We rented Paul’s place because of the location. We were close to family amenities. The house is more than I expected. It is as shown on line, spacious with pretty much everything you need. More than most Airbnb’s. Paul was a please to deal with. He was God send as we arrived in at 2 am and in our tiredness had a few issues, he was there to help us. I will hopefully have the opportunity to rent this home again.

Everything was amazing and excatly as described, What a gorgeous place decorated beutifuly with a super comfortable bed and everything i needed for my stay. Close to downtown Kitchener with many great restaurants. My Host Christina’s was amazing, and available anytime, she was very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this property and the host. Thank You Christina!

We’ve stayed in a few airbnb’s now and cottage in the city was by FAR our favourite stay! With a rambunctious 1 year old, the space was just the right size to play and entertain without having to deal with the dangers of stairs, or multiple rooms. The open concept was perfect and there was even a high chair which was a pleasant surprise! Our visit was short, but if we had stayed longer we definitely would have enjoyed a coffee on the front porch in the privacy of the airbnb, or a fire at night. We can’t wait to come back for longer next time! Everything was just as the listing said and in a busy city it was great to have a taste of home on our trip.

This place was awesome for my family of five (including 3 four and under). The location was perfect - central to absolutely everything and my husband and I laughed that we could actually live there, even though it's a two bedroom. Everything was clearly explained and there were local recommendations and the host was very responsive. We stayed for 6 days and easily could have stayed longer if we had the time. couldn't ask for a better spot and would book here again.

Had a comfortable 1.5-month stay. The place was clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was helpful and responsive. Only issue was the bathtub drainag, it was a bit slow. Overall, a pleasant stay and would recommend!

This is a very cute and cozy house. It was clean and tidy throughout, and most importantly, the beds were comfortable. The 2 single mattresses in the loft were a bit noisy, but the kids still had a great time and enjoyed their night. The neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for a restful stay after a long day. Everyone we met on the street was friendly. Plus it’s just a short drive to the university area.

For what we wanted and needed, the Sawmill suite was ideal. We arrived very late after a wedding reception, so it was quite dark out. Once we located the address, however, the driveway and entranceway to the unit were very well lit. Even the steps down to the door to the suite were lit with some charming hanging bulbs. Helpful and quite lovely. The kitchen is everything you need it to be, the bathroom and shower clean and perfectly functional. The living room is large and airy, the couch capacious and comfy with plenty of nice soft blankets essential on a leather couch. A nice touch. If I have any issue, and this is a small one, it’s that there are only two lamps in the entire suite - one small one in the living room and one on one of the side tables in the bedroom. The overhead lighting is ample, but I prefer the softer light of lamps, especially in the evening and for watching TV. Again, a small complaint. Overall a wonderful home base for exploring the St. Jacobs area!

Kathy was great, always helpful and supportive. She even offered to let our dogs out if we were going to be away very long. Wonderful large back yard for them as well. Perfect for anyone staying with furry family. Plus the decor was very cute, and the yard amenities charming.

We had a weekend getaway as two couples and Krista's place was perfect. The decor was stylish and amenities were thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

The unit and building were impeccable. Checkin was a breeze and flexible. Had just a wonderful night of sleep in a comfortable space. Looking forward to staying again soon.

We recently spent two nights while my 15 year old son was in a basketball tournament. The walkout basement unit was brand new with all the wonderful finishes. The large patio door to look at the treed backyard was lovely. In warmer weather even a patio set. The bedrooms were very comfortable. It was a very large space and the kitchen had all the amenities you could need. The only thing that could be better would be and additional sofa or chairs for watching the large screen tv. The three seater sofa kinda tight for 3/4 people:). I would definitely recommend this place and I would go again. It was situated in a modest clean and safe neighborhood. Very quiet.

Lovely place ...indoors and outside! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood invites you to explore its diverse streetscapes. Convient to walk or bike ride to the river to enjoy walking/bike trails. Heather is a generous and gracious host. Hopefully we will return. 😊

We had a great stay. Only problem was that we were not able to use the pool or hot tub because there was a problem with them, we were really looking forward to using both.

This place is the best rental property we’ve ever stayed at. And we will be recommending it to our friends and family. It’s location in a quiet and established neighbourhood, the beautiful porches and the garden, the tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen makes it ideal for couples that are coming to Kitchener/Waterloo and prefer to stay in the homey atmosphere vs the commercial hotel. Krys and Bill are very friendly, welcoming and generous hosts with big hearts! They supplied us with all necessary items in the bathroom and in the kitchen, including teas, coffee, spices, the breakfast items and even snacks. Their little dog Ruby is very friendly and she is very quiet and well behaved. Thank you Krys and Bill for sharing your beautiful apartment with us!

This is the perfect getaway. Scott and Sandra’s place is even better than it looks. There is a huge amount of space to roam and the cabin and outdoor kitchen area are thoughtfully designed. There are many little touches that make one feel cozy and welcome such as the fairy lights that come on at night or the bottle of water and glasses in the cabin. There are carp in the creeks and horses in the pasture. Can’t recommend enough.

My family and I had a great weekend in this wonderful, quiet, peaceful place, nestled in the woods. We even regretted having to leave! I highly recommend it!

Adorable log cabin, lots or room. Spotless, and charming accommodation. She even made homemade baked treats. Its very cute and would be nice honeymoon getaway or with children.

Our stay here was amazing and would definitely come back. Hosts were very friendly. They were available to answer any questions and help with anything you need. Cabin was clean and equipt with most things you would need. Very private area and the bikes on property were a perfect touch. Thank you very much!
