Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Watersmeet Township

Absolutely gorgeous cabin on a peninsula into the river, surrounded on three sides by water! One of the most tranquil places we have stayed, with all the amenities you could need. The kayaks/canoes were lovely and Susan provided so many other little touches we never knew we needed! Another plus to the rustic cabin is the built-in easy-to-use sound system which made for great memories singing songs together while cooking dinner etc. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone planning a visit to Eagle River or the Northwoods of Wisconsin!

Small space but perfect for what we were planning our weekend to be. Cozy and they provided most everything you could need. Fairly priced and happy with our choice to stay here

Every thing was great but I would suggest you check the board that lead to the lake the first two move or lift when u walk on them I only went down and sat by the lake and take pictures. But it could be a safety issue

Kelly’s comfy stay was perfect for our weekend trip to the Porkies. It was our first time visiting, and it was very convenient having a place to stay just 20 minutes from the park. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and a relaxing living room. A tip for new travelers to the area, the few available restaurants close at 8pm. Our first night we lost track of time hiking until sunset (9pm) and found ourselves out of luck for food. Thankfully the kitchen was also very functional, allowing us to make a meal with some non-perishables we brought. One negative about our stay was that the dryer stopped producing heat. However, Kelly was quick with her communication and sent her husband to take a look the same day. Although the problem was never ultimately solved during our time there, it did not affect our trip in any way. I highly recommend this great stay. The Porkies will not disappoint!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is adorable!! We felt right at home. We appreciated the detailed instructions and the nice touches throughout.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and fresh. The view is amazing and the property is so private. We loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our pup loved running around and going out on the dock. The location was just what we wanted, centrally located between the bike trails in Boulder Junction and Lac Du Flambeau, and the convenience of Woodruff and Minocqua where there are many good restaurants and Dan's Minocqua Fudge where they make their own excellent ice cream and candy. We also took a nice walk on the Bearskin State Trail out of Minocqua. I highly recommend Christine's place and we will definitely be back!

I want to give this place 100 ⭐️ and at the same time selfishly give it 1 ⭐️ so I can book it whenever I want 😂 Seriously, this place is a real gem. It was super clean, quiet, so incredibly peaceful. The lake is so serene and inviting. The paddle boat was under repair but we took out the canoe a few times and we literally had the lake to ourselves, enjoying the sounds of the wind and birds and just nature. We and our fur babies had such a wonderful time - we will be back! Also, the WiFi was impressive connection for the area. It was like the best of all worlds…being off the grid while still on it ❤️

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property was spotless and exactly as described—if not better. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking and grilling, which made meals so easy and enjoyable. I was especially surprised (and grateful) for the abundance of towels and blankets—such a thoughtful touch. The outdoor space was just as fantastic, with a beautiful deck, a cozy fireplace, and a well-maintained pier. The kids had an absolute blast using the kayak and paddle boards that were provided. We also loved the short walk into town, where we enjoyed great meals and delicious sweet treats. Christine was exceptional—responsive, warm, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting Eagle River. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Ewelina’s place was the perfect setting for a quick weekend in nature. Ewelina was incredibly responsive and helpful. This cozy apartment was spotless upon arrival, comfortable, and was stocked with more than I could ever need. The attention to detail was evident; I cannot recommend this place enough.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

I enjoyed my 5 nights stay at Lois’s place. She is very helpful , welcoming, sincere,understanding and accommodating. I had no regret staying at this home. Everywhere was spotless and tidy. Tons of space!! We only needed 1 night but if you need it for more it would great. Filled with kitchen amenities and clean comfy furniture. Love the patios in the back, great private view.

Lisa's cabin is the perfect getaway to somewhere quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by nature out every window, a super helpful guide book (go to the supper club on it, you can't beat that fish fry!), and impeccably clean, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Lisa!

The coziest little cottage just outside of Eagle River. You are within 10 minutes of anywhere in town. Great little loft bedroom upstairs and couch bed sofa downstairs along with a bedroom with 2 twin beds. The kitchen is well stocked as well having the tools you need to make what you need. We loved the look and feel of the place and look forward to staying there in the future.

Perfectly situated to all the hiking spots, and easy drive up to Copper Harbor, were already selling points. The acreage, the lake (when you find it), were even better than expected. My dog had the time of his life exploring the property, which made for a nice change of pace after a strenuous day of hiking. Quiet, immersed in nature, it was relaxing, rejuvenating, and wonderful stay. Thank you!

We loved our stay on Turtle Lake at Lindsey’s place. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was exactly like the photos and descriptions, spotlessly clean kitchen and bathrooms with cozy bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of meals. The grill had extra propane just in case. We took advantage of renting their brand new pontoon and enjoyed sunsets on the lake. The property was private and perfect for relaxing with our pups. All of the toiletries, soap, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies were well stocked which made it so easy to enjoy a week long stay without having to run to the store. We will definitely be back and hope to enjoy their home again next year! Thank you Lindsey & Jamie!

We loved everything about it. Cabin was clean and well stocked. The view was incredible and she was very responsive to all communication. It was also a plus that we could bring our dog. This place was 10/10 for us.

Perfect getaway! The home is lovely and has everything you need. The deck is perfect for enjoying a meal or morning coffee. The lake is great for a short trip in the kayaks (or other options). We saw a couple of deer each morning hanging out outside the window. We’d recommend hiking at Piers Gorge - was perfect for hiking and enjoying nature for a few hours. The host, Ian, is very responsive and the home is kept in pristine condition.

This place is cozy, convenient, and clean. We know this part of the northwoods well and the cottage on High Lake has everything you need and is a conveniently located in the heart of some of the best paddling, hiking, and skiing spots. The fireplace and the sunrises were the best, we will definitely be coming back.

We so enjoyed our stay at Corey's lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is so well built and has been recently remodeled. It's a family cabin and you truly felt like you are staying in someone's well stocked home. All the little extras you need for cooking (oils and SO many spices) and more. The bed was comfy and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Located just under a half hour from town and close to the end of a long road, there was absolutely no traffic. We so enjoyed long evening walks and seeing the deer scamper through the forest. But you didn't have to leave the cabin to see deer as they made daily visits. Our favorite spot was out on the dock where the sunsets were often mirrored on the water and you could hear the loons calling at night. It truly is a special place!
