Enjoy summer days and gorgeous nights! We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, state parks, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and Mackinaw City / Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

Centrally located, downtown, 800 sq. ft. heated solarium suite - bedroom, living room, small bathroom and kitchenette (toaster oven, microwave, electric frypan, mini fridge - not a full kitchen) and sleeper couch, attached to the back of my home. Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

This was a perfect place for us! The location and amazing view made this a wonderful stay. We had not even left our kids were asking when we could come back. We saw loons, geese, ducks, swan, and a bald eagle while hanging out by our fire! Could not ask for anymore than what this property provided!

What a little slice of Heaven! We loved the antiques, the homey feeling and special touches. It was the perfect landing spot after flying into Traverse City to visit Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and Whitefish Point! It was magical to go out to see the cows and notice sparkling spots in the field…milkweed seeds!
