Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wayne County

We had a wonderful stay at Dumas’s place! The house is newly remodeled and beautifully decorated—modern, tasteful, and very comfortable. It was spacious and spotless, with plenty of room to relax. One of our favorite moments was enjoying a meal in the well-appointed kitchen—it truly felt like home. Dumas was an attentive and thoughtful host, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot!

A very first review for Jewel. Jewel is a new Airbnb host but second to no one. She will become a Super host in no time. She lives in the house which is divided between private and rental spaces. Our staying was not due to tourism nor for pleasure. We are a working brigade of 7 to 8 men working in the aerial construction of fiber optic to offer high speed internet to the residents of the area. We all felt comfortable in Jewel’s house. The place is very quiet and has many alternatives to entertain guests like a professional tennis court, a huge landscape where people, knowledgeable or not, can practice golf, a charcoal bbq and more. It’s nature at its best. We could not really enjoy all the possibilities of the place and the surroundings because we spent most of the time working at the field, from very early in the morning till late in the afternoon but, nevertheless, we had a really good time there. If we ever get work in the area, we will join Jewel again.Thank you so much dear Jewel.

Wonderful home for our big family. Very comfortable and lots of room for our family of eight. Very kid-friendly! Plenty of cookware, towels, toilet paper, etc. - all the little things. Host was very friendly and sent plenty of specific instructions to make our stay great. Loved that there was a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay - would have been sad to have no tree at Christmas.

Had a great stay! The twin beds room is small but thoughtfully arranged with two comfortable twin beds—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bedding was fresh and clean, and the overall vibe was cozy and peaceful. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, felt secure throughout our stay. The home itself is an older vintage house that the host is lovingly remodeling. It’s filled with unique antique pictures and charming items throughout, which gave the space a lot of character and made it a pleasure to explore. This setup is especially ideal for families: parents can stay in the adjacent bedroom and feel at ease knowing their kids are sleeping soundly just next door. Highly recommend for anyone looking! The host was extremely kind and accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable. She was a pleasure to speak with and truly made us feel welcome.

wonderful house to stay in, only 15-20 minutes from goldsboro... beautiful surroundings, lakes and trees everyehere.

Lauren was an excellent host. Very friendly and provided plenty of information to make our stay enjoyable. Her home is beautiful and she is pouring her heart and soul restoring this historic home.
