Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wayne County

I have stayed at quite a few airbnbs and I have to say that Doug has been THE best host. He was more than accommodating and understanding of some changes needed for our stay. The house is beautiful, the beds, linens and towels were luxurious, and the grounds were very peaceful. If we stay in this area again, we will definitely be staying at Doug's place if available!

Loved this house...it was perfect. It was like being at home, Dawn thought of everything when it comes to furnishing her house. Beautiful front and back yard. Wish we could of enjoyed the back yard more. My mom lives in Rittman and we had a lot of family in town so we pretty much hung out at her house. Would definitely love to stay here again. So happy to find this gem in Rittman. Thank you Dawn.

Phillip and Karen are wonderful hosts! Very responsive, thoughtful and kind… The house was immaculate! Lovely amenities provided, well stocked with everything needed for an amazing stay….felt like a home away from home… Our two small pets loved running around the fenced backyard space…the area surrounding the home is quiet and peaceful…the wraparound porch was perfect for sitting and relaxing… Highly recommend these accommodations and amazing hosts!!

Beautiful home! Kitchen was fully stocked with every tool we needed to cook. Washer and dryer was a nice bonus. Plenty of towels and linens. Great place to stay for a few nights!

Loved staying here! Was spacious and private for our week-long stay which is exactly what we needed. Sandra was responsive to questions and provided extra touches to make it easy to settle in (light switches labeled, local syrup and eggs in the fridge, heads up on animals on the farm). It was a convenient location for wedding festivities in Orrville and Wooster. We will definitely keep this in mind for future trips to the area to stay again!

This is probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. My sister-in-law and I decided to have a girl’s weekend getaway from husband/fiancé and kids, and Amish Country was our first pick. We found several that caught our eye, but this one stood out. It is a centralized location, looked so pretty and peaceful, and the reviews were great. They were NOT WRONG! We were not disappointed. James was responsive and communicative before and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and check-in was a breeze. The space was cozy, but spacious at the same time, and had plenty of amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be staying here again, every time we come to Holmes County! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, and I know my sister-in-law would as well!

Great little home away from home. My husband and I stayed for two nights as I got to show him my home town. Was peaceful and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend!

We had a great stay in Elisha’s apartment! It was the perfect space for two people. The apartment is very clean and thoughtfully laid out, with lots of cute design touches. The patio is very serene and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Parking in front of the house and checking in was easy. We found great food for dinner and breakfast close by. We’d love to come back again!

This was my first stay in #5 and won't be my last. As a single traveller I felt very safe here. Doors and locks are of good quality. Neighbors are quiet. The area feels safe. The pink kitchen was a favorite. Good shower. The bed was very comfortable and it resulted in the best nights sleep I've had in 3 years. There are 3 short flights of stairs with handrails that were easy to navigate and climb in my opinion. Will definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at Robert’s place, and it’s always a pleasure. He is extremely responsive and helpful. He graciously offered us a late check out which was much appreciated. We enjoyed meeting Robert and his wonderful dog in the driveway on our way out! My only note to future guests is that you should be prepared to hear a bit of noise from upstairs when Robert and his wife are walking around. It’s not at all an issue but anyone looking for absolute silence should be aware. It’s a wonderful place to stay and we recommend it highly!

Carol has a beautiful quiet spot that met all of my expectations. I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and quaint cabin. She made it so comfortable and welcoming. I plan on a return stay in the near future.

This small cabin sits in a beautiful location off the beaten path in Amish Country and within easy drive distance to Mohican State Park.

Second time staying here . Perfection. Beautifully decorated . Hostess is the best of the best. Wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else . I book my vacation around the availability. Pure pleasure.

Awesome host with great communication! The A Frame was a very laid back and relaxing place to stay. The host suggested 63 Corks as a nearby restaurant for a special occasion and it was amazing! Would give more stars as a rating if it was an option. We will stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you again for having us!
