Julie’s place was everything we needed for our stay in Newstead. Comfortable, warm and clean and accommodating three couples easily without us feeling cramped. The kitchen was well equipped for meals at home and we also loved having the fireplace. Highly recommend Julie’s place.

We were lucky enough to find Mia Mia while we were waiting to move into our new house so we had a lengthy stay. It was lovely to have such a homely place that was peaceful and comfortable. Fire for the colder nights, very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and we particularly enjoyed all the bird life around the home. A very easy walk into town to grab the necessities, a coffee or a pub meal. Thank you so much for your hospitality Bronwyn and Kieran.

We had the most wonderful stay! So peaceful and serene. The cottage is absolutely perfect with all the amenities you need for your stay. Beautiful surroundings will so much to explore right at your doorstep. Thank you for the thoughtful added touches. We enjoyed the complimentary wine, fresh milk, quail eggs and fresh herbs. A cosy and central yet still very private apartment in the heart of Maldon with off street parking. Homely with everything needed for a relaxing stay and the bed is super comfy! Tabitha is a lovely host and check in was a breeze. We’d happily stay again.
