Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. De tuin is volledige omheind Papenveer is een knus, huisje voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Geniet van hazen die door het veld rennen en roofvogels die hoog boven je cirkelen. 5 minuten fietsen van het prachtig natuurgebied Egboetswater – dé plek voor wie houdt van natuur, stilte en vrijheid. Maar wie de reuring op wil zoeken zit met 15 min. in centrum Hoorn en met 40 min. in Amsterdam. Kortom een fijne plek, met privé tuin en diverse andere mogelijkheden.

Het Weidehuisje voelt als een afgelegen privé paradijs, maar ligt verrassend centraal in Noord-Holland. Of je nu wil fietsen, wandelen, vissen, vogels spotten, dorpen ontdekken of gewoon even helemaal niets doen. Dit is de plek waar je op adem komt.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

You have a view of the beautiful tea garden where you can enjoy delicious coffee and tea. Oostwoud has a strategic rural location, close to cities such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik (10-20 min), Alkmaar and Amsterdam (30-40 min) and nature such as the IJsselmeer (5 min) and the beach (40 min). Also an ideal starting point for cycling routes.

The lakeside house - vacation in Noord-Holland

Enjoy the views over the farmyard and the farmlands towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Overlook continuous fishing and boating waters. Rent a boat or a SUP and go on the water! Nature reserve "Het Egboetswater" is nearby, and the beach of the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere from here!

Welcome to our lovely house "Achter de Turf" in Medemblik. Located on the flowing water. At the front, there is ample parking for your car, and if you come by boat, you can moor it in Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is within walking distance of the city center, where shops, restaurants and cozy terraces are available. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is a 50-km drive.

Welcome to our 'B and B 40 A'

Our B&B is located near the tourist center of Medemblik, on navigable water, with a parking space on private property. Our living room has an open kitchen with hob, Senseo, kettle, fridge, combi microwave. and there is Wi-Fi available. It is a complete cottage with its own front door, and from this ideally located accommodation you can cycle, sail, walk, to museums and or to the castle, or go on the scenic steam train to Hoorn, etc. You can also rent bicycles from us.
