Welcome to our lovely house 'Behind the Turf' in Medemblik. Located on the waterfront. At the front there is ample parking for your car, and if you come by boat then you can moor it in the Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is within walking distance of the center, where shops, restaurants and cozy terraces are present. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West-Friese environment. Amsterdam is 50 km away.

What a beautiful setting. And not only a beautiful environment but also beautiful people you step into at home. It is a pleasant arrival with a warm welcome and a nice explanation. In the room, there was a note with all the useful information we needed. There were even towels ready for showering. Sleeping at someone's house could be exciting, but definitely not at Jan Willem and Andreas' house. Highly recommendable!

We immediately felt comfortable at Lida. She is a great and lovely hostess. Our son loved the sheep and chickens, Lida also had great tips for the area. The accommodation is also great, we would have liked to stay longer. I can only recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Bianca was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The animals on the farm were really refreshing and loved the short stay very much. Breakfast was also delicious. Definitely will come back for a long stay in the future

We had a wonderful week at Theo & Ageeth’s property. They were very welcoming and had plenty of ideas for local trips to check out the sights. The bed is extremely comfortable, add to that the quiet surroundings, and we slept very well. The kitchen is well equipped and has most everything you need to prepare your own meals. While there is no oven the microwave does double duty. The apartment has a wonderful outlook to their beautifully manicured garden. We used their bikes to discover the local area which is also very beautiful with spring tulips and flowers. Highly recommended.
