Cottage holiday rentals in West Bay

The Botanica luxury cottages are extremely beautiful and well thought out. The cottage itself and the property is in pristine shape. Someone was always around to answer any questions and the detail to service and the cottage has all the useful amenities you look for like beach chair, beach towel, floppy beach hat, beach bag, and even a beach umbrella for you to use. Definitely get a car as there is not an easy way to cross the highway because of no sidewalk. Private backyard and pool were intimate and typically had all to myself.

Our stay was wonderful! The amenities were more than accommodating and if ever a need arose, Chad and France met them quickly! We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary and the restaurant and sunset sail recommendations were a hit!! Thanks!!

We had the pleasure of staying in the luxury 2 bedroom cottage with private pool. The pool/patio area alone was exactly what we were looking for and perfect for our family. It felt secluded and private yet we were so close to everything. We had the max amount of guests and there was more than enough space for everyone to sleep and enjoy the cottage comfortably. My kids enjoyed the luxury of stepping right outside to use the pool at any point and the toys/games provided. Definitely would recommend this space to any family looking for a tropical escape where you can reconnect with your family yet still be so close to all the exciting activities grand cayman has to offer! One thing to note, the beach is a bit of a walk away. It's not terrible, but with children and all the things they require, it was a bit far. But with a rental car we had no problem driving and parking basically across the street. They do offer a free shuttle but we didnt need to use it. Overall a wonderful trip! 10/10

The East End is the place to stay for peaceful relaxation. The location was perfect for us. We loved the ability to use the kayaks, which we did. There was a lovely pool and hot tub. We didn't use these but they were available if we wanted to use them. The living room was compact and had a TV, but we never used it except one day when it rained. Two bathrooms was a plus for 4 women. Only thing I would suggest is, having towel bars in the upstairs bathroom, some type of storage in the upstairs bedroom. Other than that, it was perfect.

All the 5 star reviews are completely true. Immaculate place with amazing hosts. We were on our baby moon and they even provided a pregnancy pillow and gifted a onesie. Made us feel so special. I think what we enjoyed the most was the extremely thoughtful details. From beach umbrella, blanket, cooler, to the insulated cup they had (I forgot mine). The kitchen was so well stocked. The pool was immaculate and while shared, feels so exclusive and private. This felt like so much more than an air bnb experience- it felt like a customized boutique hotel. We cannot recommend it enough. Oh and the location is brilliant. You just drive right across the street and park and you are at 7 mile beach. We watched beautiful sunset every night.

From the get go we felt very welcome and at home. Harriet and her assistant, Tia were both there to greet us upon arrival and settled us into the property. The cottage is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings and appliances and spotlessly clean. The setting is wonderful : pristine beach, extremely quiet and it felt like we were on our own island paradise. Plenty of furniture in the well manicured gardens, which lead straight onto the beach with plenty of options for sun and shade. We particularly enjoyed taking the kayaks out early each morning into the large bay area with still and beautifully clear warm water. Thank you Harriet for a wonderful and memorable stay in your beautiful property !

The Hidden Gem is the perfect place for a couple to stay and learn all about the History of East End from Shane who is passionate about the local history and his heritage. Shane is the perfect host and it’s a great place to base yourself away from the major city on the west of the island yet still gives easy access to all the places to see and experience. Shane provided snorkelling equipment and beach chairs which is a really nice touch. Snorkelling from the beach we saw a wide selection of fish, rays and squid. Just a short drive away is Spotts Beach which didn’t disappoint. We swam with several wild turtles and large rays. Also just a short drive away is the amazing Crystal Caves and Starfish Point which are a must see.

Peace of Mine is one of the top 3 AirBnbs we have stayed at. From the arrival with Ms Tia, the house keeper who showed us everything in the cottage and was always available with a cheery smile, and service above and beyond. Ms Harriet was just a message away. We had internet connectivity issues, and within seconds, Ms Tia knocked on our door and solved the issue with a backup router. Several great restaurants within 10-15 mins drive including Tukka House West and the Italian kitchen. The cottage itself was stocked with every amenity one needs including snorkel gear, chairs and towels. Kayaks for the beautiful calm waters in front of the reef. The only two things that were a bit of a negative 1. not much snorkeling near the cottage, and 2. it is far from georgetown (about 35 mins non traffic or 1.5 hours+ during traffic time) but if one is looking for seclusion and far away from the tourist crowds, this would be the place. Highly highly recommend.
