Holiday rentals with a patio in West Bay

My family booked a different rental but when we got there, the AC was broken. After four days, they were still trying to fix it. On the fourth night I started looking for something else and found John’s place. I sent a message that evening and explained our situation. He got back to me quickly and we were able to move over to his place. The apartment is amazing! It looks even better in person than in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean, the location is excellent, and the view is gorgeous. It had everything we needed, including plenty of parking. Communication was excellent and timely. The Cracked Conch restaurant is an easy walk. The turtle conservatory is walkable, too. This was our third trip to Cayman and when we return again, I hope to book John’s place if it’s available. You won’t regret staying here!!

Top quality interior the best sheets and towels excellent mattresses and furniture very very comfortable. Everything you need was here on the outside. There’s a beautiful pool that overlooks the ocean. I was able to go diving every single day just right out the back door tanks were there waiting for me. Quiet and safe with great restaurants nearby

Great place and great hosts. The place is modern and the beds are comfy. Roy and Anita were great from start to finish. The location is on West Bay which is the best part of the island. Good grocery store down the street and close to many good restaurants. On rough surf days getting into the water from behind the condo could be challenging but there are fabulous beaches 2 minutes away. On days when the surf is calm the snorkeling is incredible. Saw many cool fish in the reefs behind the condo. This was our seventh visit to Grand Cayman and I would definitely stay here again the next time we come.

We had a great time at Sunstays condo! The condo is very clean and quiet. It was in a great location on 7 mile beach. The beach is so close. Just cross the street and walk down a path to paradise! The beach wasn't crowded at all when we were there in May. Gorgeous water and so relaxing! I loved having some restaurants downstairs and the mini mart. We ate at Island Naturals a few times. Great fresh and healthy food. Loved the snapper tacos! The grounds are very lush with beautiful plants and flowers. My daughter and I felt very safe at the Grove and in the Caymans in general. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sunstays for a great week!

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The condo is beautiful!! Erin left so many nice touches like snacks and extra toiletries. It is a peaceful, quiet location but only a 15 minute drive from 7 mile beach. I stayed with my 3 kids and my mom and dad with plenty of space. Absolutely amazing. We will be back.

My family had a great stay! The condo was very spacious and clean. It had a beautiful water front view from the master bedroom and living room. We made good use of the kitchen amenities. The complex was quiet and we hardly saw or heard any neighbors. It is also located next to a lovely restaurant and close to a full grocery store. We drove to several different beach spots during our visit (all less than 15 minutes away). There were a lot of amazing beach options and we didn't have any issues with public parking. Brian was a very responsive host and quickly replied to questions about local recommendations and was flexible about check-out time. I highly recommend his property.

Just finished up a 5 day stay at Jesse's apartment and the place was as advertised and then some. We wanted for nothing and our stay was incredibly peaceful as we felt right at home. The place is perfect for a couple and even two as this is a spacious two bedroom apt. Located in West Bay, the apartment is walking distance to both Dolphin Discovery and the Cayman Turtle Center (5 minutes) as well Cracked Conch/Macabuca Tiki Bar which is also about a 4 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was fully stocked with condiments, utensils and other necessities which is also a plus. The grounds of the apt. complex are well kept and the complex's pool was also a nice spot to hang out at if we wanted a change from the comfortable and relaxing backyard. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are coming to an island. Please note, renting a car is definitely preferred being in West Bay, but we would have it no other way. Thanks Jesse.

This was a great place to stay for 3 people! It is its own private house. We had just about everything we needed for our 6 night stay in West Bay. Comfy beds too!

I was on island for a quick trip. This end-unit townhouse was spotless, modern, conveniently located and our host was friendly, responsive and proactive. Highly recommended!

We came for spring break and absolutely loved the place. First, the view is absolutely fantastic! Being able to wake up and enjoy our morning coffee with the views of the ocean were a great way to greet the day. The pool was well used on our trip and it was both warm and clean! Loved the built in seats in the pool. The place was located near some great restaurants and close enough to everything that we didn't spend a lot of time getting from place to place. Chelsea was extremely helpful and very responsive. We will be back for sure!

Nice spacious place for two people. We only had one minor issue with an unintentionally locked door and Shellie was immediately responsive and had it fixed within an hour. the place was well equipped with everything needed. Weather was windy while we were there but that's not their fault. Great communication!

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Cay. The house and surrounding area is as beautiful as the photos! Mitzie has great information about the local area and things to do. The final touch is the amazing rum cake waiting for you when you arrive at the house.

Kate and Nick’s place was a beautiful, amazing place to spend our week in Cayman. Peaceful and just outside of the busy Seven Mile area, a short drive to great restaurants and shops. Very accommodating, our flight was delayed a day and Kate & Nick were kind enough to let us stay an additional day. I look forward to our next trip and would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Oasis. It was very spacious and easily accommodated our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our 5 night stay-we went to the grocery store once for food and drinks only/everything else was already at the house. The pool and backyard were amazing! My girls loved tanning on the poolside loungers. The walk to the beach was easy enough but we really enjoyed Governor’s beach which was a short drive away. Thank you Cline for a wonderful family vacation!

Monika's house was the perfect place to spend a week in Grand Cayman. The location was perfect and close to the grocery store, across the street from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants including Camana Bay. We enjoyed the pool, large backyard and safety of the residential neighborhood. The house was "as described" and we felt that we had everything we needed for the week. Thanks again!

Stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it! The Airbnb was clean, safe, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect. We loved being able to snorkel just steps from the property and enjoy the sunset from the pool. The views from the Airbnb are STUNNING, pictures don’t do it justice!! We also went scuba diving with Elizabeth’s company and had a great time. Awesome experience overall!!! Highly recommend to anyone :)

Probably the best AirBNB I have ever stayed at. Clean, very new unit and furnishings, beach chairs and umbrella.. The hosts were extremely responsive, providing pickup and drop-off services to and from the airport and various locations around the island. Great recommendations on restaurants and activities. The location is excellent, right across from the beach. Very quiet area, yet the complex also has a few great places to eat, a bakery, and supermarket/liquor store. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Condo has every detail covered, all high end appliances, cook ware, and linens. Very quiet with an exceptional pool that includes built in stools, wadding area and plenty of room to swim laps. The sea pool was a great addition, easy access, good access out to the sea. We saw a large variety of fish daily including rays and an occasional nurse shark.

This place is fantastic. Well appointed and plenty of space. Master bathroom has large tub. It has a deck and a view of the Caribbean Sea. We dove with Divetech located right downstairs and they were excellent. This is an ideal place to stay for diving. You can shore dive and snorkel the reef in front of the place. Would be perfect for a couple diving together, but large enough to fit a small family. It is not right next to the beach, but is a short drive from seven mile beach. You will want to rent a car if you stay here. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. The owner was very friendly and responsive, responding to messages within minutes in many cases. Overall, a tremendous value. A+. I would definitely return.

Worth every penny! Myline’s place is our favorite place now when we visit Grand Cayman. This was our 4th or 5th booking and we will continue to return every year! It is so peaceful here, away from the hustle and bustle of 7-mile beach. This place is about a 15-minute drive to 2 of our favorite restaurants in West Bay (Pappagallos & Calypso Grille). The “Olympic” sized pool is amazing. Great for relaxing after a day of diving. Speaking of diving, there is a nice little reef behind the unit, with easy access to it. If you go right and head north, you’re not too far from Turtle Reef (Macabuca) and you can see turtles, nurse sharks, and puffer fish (just to name a few). If you go left and head south, you’ll find a nice place for snorkeling up along the iron shore. You’ll see all sorts of juvenile fish in the area and lots of Trunk Fish. This place has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Fantastic trip, the place did everything we needed it too. Provided a clean, functional condo across the street from the beach. Everything worked well in the condo save the running toilet (you had to jiggle the handle). It was a great and convenient launching space for our vacation and most importantly my kids felt really comfortable there. Eve was terrific, there wasn't a question she didn't respond to or work to find an answer for, very helpful. We'd go back!

Amazing find! Staff across the board was helpful. Liz and Sam are incredibly helpful with providing information and insights to the island. Everything was very easy, from arrival to departure. The place is well equipped and well appointed. We felt like we were in our own private paradise! There were people in the unit above, but we never heard them walking around or anything. We will return and recommend to all.

Beautiful location and views, homey and well-provisioned condo, and a responsive, helpful host. We were a family of four there for a dive vacation, and this place was a great choice. We were five- to ten- minutes away from everything we needed--West Bay shore diving and boat diving docks (Divetech was a great choice for us), Foster's grocery store, Heritage Kitchen, Macabuca/Cracked Conch, sunsets on Cemetery Beach or from the great balcony or shoreline overlook at the condo, great shore fishing, and lots more. Any downsides? Grand Cayman is growing fast, and there's a lot of construction everywhere, including next door to Bonnie's Arch, but it was low-key/noise save for one morning. And note that Bonnie's Arch as far as a snorkel/dive spot is hit or miss in the winter months due to weather and currents; it was too rough while we were there till the last day when we did some snorkeling, and shore diving would entail driving to Georgetown to rent tanks. Even so, we had a grand time!
