Pet-friendly holiday rentals in West Chiltington

Beautiful house and felt like a real home from home. Beds were very comfortable and ideal for our family (4 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). The property has a stunning kitchen area and the whole house is decorated to a very high standard. Everything available you could need (all the little basics) and more. Lovely touches like a welcome pack including a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits etc. This is probably one of the loveliest properties we have stayed in and so conveniently placed halfway between useful shopping area and the beach. Local park nearby for children too and parking for up to 4 vehicles behind a large secure gate. Only criticism (although minor) is the windows would benefit from blackout blinds as we all tended to wake up early due to sunshine streaming in despite blinds being drawn. Thank you Karen for a lovely stay - would highly recommend this property for family holiday /get together and we are very likely to return.

We had a lovely few days away in this cosy cottage with our Boston Terrier. Small, but with all the facilities you need, this is lovely accommodation for a short break. The pub opposite does lovely food with another pub a short walk up the road. The beach is 5 minute walk away but is now somewhat storm battered - still makes an interesting walk. The lovely towns of Arundel and Chichester are a short drive. Easy parking at the accommodation but be aware the cottage is set in woodland with lots of nesting birds resulting in a rather dirty car each morning (ended up parking outside the pub)!

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. Commuication from the owner was excellent. It is in a very peaceful location and has 2 pubs within walking distance. It is also within a short driving distance of so many varied places to visit or walk. We went to Bosham, Wealdon Downland museum, Fishbourne Roman palace, and the nature reserve at Kingley Vale and will be back again to do more. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

This is the second time we've stayed at The Granary and we love it! Such a beautiful home. The perfect place for us, a group of old friends who don't see each other often, to meet and catch up. We loved being able to just walk out and up into the South Downs. Jo was incredibly helpful throughout. We are already plotting our next visit.

Absolutely beautiful home within a home. Shame it was for just one night as the place warranted staying longer. lovely furnishings, comfortable bed. Loved the fact that the fridge was stocked. And tea and coffee available. Extremely clean and welcoming, great that we could watch prime and Netflix, it was my friend and my yearly stay away, to de-stress, and that's what we did. Cedar House is simply stunning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings, very comfortable and spacious property with everything you need. The pool and spa are a delight and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Kelly as a host is great as well, good at responding and clear with information, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a brilliant place, would definitely recommend.

The cottage is very tastefully decorated and has everything you could want. Sandwiched by two pubs and within easy walking distance from all the amenities and attractions, highly recommend this place.

We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your gorgeous cottage. It was the perfect venue and location for time away with friends. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing break. The extra touches, like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and toiletries, are very thoughtful. We recommend this cottage for anyone looking to visit the area and we would be very happy to stay again.

very relaxing beautiful surroundings, loved the bedroom with double aspect views and bed was so comfortable. Great shower. we did find the armchairs a bit low but then we are 'getting on'.Good choice of eating places in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a truly beautiful stay. The cottage was so clean , bright, everything you needed, plenty of places to go and things to do leaflets. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped . You are surrounded in nature and wildlife , its so peaceful and the Red Kite feeding was absolutely out of this world The garden and woodland is fantastic , there is so much to see as you walk around . There is a beautiful terrace to sit and look at the views and watch the birds . Outstanding. Marley and his Grandad Fred are wonderful and so very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be going back and would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so amazing .

We had a 2 night stay during half term. The lodge was perfect t for what we needed. Easy to find, had all the necessary amenities and the hot tub was a great bonus!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

We stayed at Romy’s place for two nights as a family of four. This is a great place. Off the beaten track yet close to Horsham and local amenities. The space is well designed thought out and comfortable. Romy was a great host and was very friendly and communicative. We would happily stay here again if in the area.

What a lovely place to spend a couple of nights. We travelled quite a distance to visit the Knepp Estate re-wilding project and this was the perfect base. Thoughtful extras and the resident alpacas made it a memorable visit. We would definitely book again if visiting the area.

We had an amazing stay. Location was fabulous and host could not have been more helpful. Our dog was in his element, great local walks and loved playing with Cooper. Pub just across the road was very welcoming, Locals were very friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We have a wonderful stay at Clair’s cottage . It was perfect for us .. full of character and charm and so close to the sea. Clair as so helpful and incredibly responsive to messages . We hope to return and stay a little longer next time 💕

It was wonderful to stay at Tracey's cabin. We traveled as a family of 4 (2 small littlies, one nearly 2 and a 5yo). Tracey kindly offered an extra air mattress in the bedroom so the littlies could sleep in the bedroom with us, giving the living area free once they were asleep. The view from the cabin was beautiful and to top it off the horses would come out to the feilds every morning. The cabin was stunning, very clean and just perfect for our stay. We even said we'd love to stay again, maybe without the children next time though.

A wonderful night at ‘The Den’ last night. Lone traveller, felt safe and cosy and able to venture the surrounding areas well. Was in need of some peace and tranquility and I got just that. Best sleep I’ve had in months and amazing hot shower. Thanks so much Iain and Amelia.
