Quaint 1 Bed Cottage Near South Downs Pets Welcome

My place is close to the high street of Steyning which is a quaint and historical town located on the edge of the south downs national park. It has an array of interesting independant shops catering for all tastes , it is on a direct bus link to Brighton and the south coast as well as walking distance to the south downs . The cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, business people and furry friends ( pets ) . It is small but perfectly formed but beware of the low ceilings and doorways.

Built in the early 19th century, Church Mouse Cottage has all the charm and character you would expect from a Georgian property. The cottage is beautiful, warm and comfortable making it the perfect bolt hole. A lot of thought has gone into ensuring that this is not just a place to stay but a place to enjoy being. Its location is an ideal blend of being tucked away in complete tranquility whilst still being just a 5 minute stroll from the thriving high street with its many shops, pubs and cafes.

Lo Tide, close to an outstanding beach.

Located in Elmer, a sleepy village 200m from a lovely, never-crowded dog-friendly beach via its own footpath. The rock islands are a unique feature creating sheltered swimming bays & are great to fish from or swim around. Secure south-facing garden, private parking for 2 cars. Sleeps up to 6 people. 2 dogs welcome. A great base to explore Littlehampton & Brighton to the East... Bognor Regis, Chichester, Portsmouth to the West and close-by Arundel and the South Downs. Our hideaway offers the perfect getaway. Soak up the peace and quiet, take in the amazing view and relax surrounded by ancient woodland, only 50 miles from London. "Watching the birds fly overhead, from the comfort of a relaxing bed. Watching the trees in the winds sway, all my worries seem faraway. The Shed down the Field .Hidden gem private garden

The SHED is ideally located in the beautiful West Sussex countryside just outside the South Downs National Park and a short drive from the coastThere are lovely walking and cycling routes straight from the door. We are well situated for trips to Goodwood ,Fontwell and Cowdray Park.The towns of Guildford,Brighton ,Chichester,Arundel and Petworth are all nearby. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads as there is no fenced area. A travel cot for babies is available.but bedding not provided

The Annex

Dogs can be considered upon application (hosts have cats) If approved, we politely ask that dogs are kept on lead when in grounds of the property. Self contained single level accommodation, under a mile from the coast (7 min walk to village, plus 8 mins to the sea) The Annex has a large bedroom, bathroom plus lounge, which contains a kitchenette space Patio doors overlooks own patio area & shared rear garden. The Bothy, formerly ‘The Old Potting Shed’ is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. Situated near Fittleworth in the South Downs National Park. Renovated & furnished to a high standard, it boasts many original features as well as modern comforts including a well equipped kitchen, 2 ensuite bedrooms, log burner & large outdoor space. The Bothy is ideal for a weekend escape, wedding, special occasion, walking holiday, Goodwood events & spending time with family & friends.

We are within the SouthDowns National Park which offers fabulous walking and hiking countryside Crossbush is a small rural village within walking distance of the picturesque and historic town of Arundel , Arundel Castle , Arundel Cathedral and the river Arun, and within easy reach of the sea You'll always remember your time at this unique place to stay.

The Pump House - a walkers' retreat

The Pump House has immediate access to footpaths and bridleways with views of the surrounding countryside, ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers wishing to explore the Sussex countryside. One mile from the pretty village of West Chiltington with its church, pub and stores and a short distance from the South Downs. Places to visit include Arundel, RSPB Pulborough Brooks, Parham House, 'Glorious' Goodwood , vineyard tours/wine tasting and the rewilding at Knepp Castle.
