Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Comfortable, cute, and cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath home that is walkable to some of the best shops/restaurants in Valley Junction, one of the most unique areas in Des Moines! Centrally located, 10 minutes to downtown, 15 minutes to airport. 2 great parks nearby and many trails accessible from home. Work from home with 2 person desk and HP printer. If you’re a traveling nurse or someone looking for a place for longer stays, this is also a great place for that!

Beautiful historic duplex house in the heart of woodland heights. Walking distance to downtown and next to Ingersoll avenue which is full of shops, bars, restaurants and more. Our place allows 2 parking spots on site with a side entrance to your upstairs Airbnb. The 800+ sq ft space includes a private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and balcony with views of downtown. Picnic table and grassy area below balcony can be used on those nice Iowa days.

Leanne's place is a great fit for me. It worked out very well. It's a clean and updated bedroom and bathroom with a comfy bed and a private entrance, all at a good price. I'm staying there again in a couple of weeks and will try to stay there whenever I am in the area. Leanne is a terrific host. I didn't have to communicate with her for very long before feeling confident that she will do anything within reason to make my stay enjoyable.

I stayed at Jill's place for a quick overnight trip near the airport, and it was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth, and Jill was proactive and welcoming. It made my travel stress-free, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I also got to meet their lovely cat, Minnie which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay near the airport!

Centrally located...close to both Val Air, Water Works, and downtown. Keurig and refrigerator available for guests too. I got back late but Raven was waiting when I returned, and she was ready to go to bed. Slept with me all night! Just a downright nice place with lots of character.
