A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders
Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Great for families and groups!
Bring the whole family or friends to this great place with lots of room for fun. With a bar, snooker room, TV room, 64mbps WIFI, darts, foosball, boardgames, gas fired BBQ, and huge garden, there is lots to do. This former Inn has loads of character and is very conveniently located near the A1 giving easy access to many of the attractions in the area. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.

The large, attractive, walled garden which surrounds the house is a peaceful, secluded haven with superb views over the Nun's Walk, the River Tweed and out to Flodden Field and the Cheviot Hills beyond. Yet Coldstream's pubs and shops are all within a few minutes' walk from the house. With prime Lower Tweed beats just a few minutes' drive from the house (including Tillmouth, Lennel, and The Lees), Abbey House provides an ideal base for fishing parties.

Characterful self-contained accommodation offering two bedrooms and two shower rooms in a pretty 17th century cottage. Master bedroom featuring a superking zip-link double bed (can also be a twin) and en-suite shower room. Second bedroom with a king size double bed and private shower room.
