Enter into a magical courtyard off the Royal Mile guarded by four blue and gold dragons and you step back in time to a mystical period. The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

The Grassmarket is full of traditional pubs, restaurants, coffee bars and boutique shops. Located on the opposite side of the street from Edinburgh Castle, this first floor apartment has a lounge, double bedroom, twin bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The two bedrooms sleep up to a maximum of four persons and the windows of these rooms look over the city skyline, giving wide panoramic views to Arthur Seat and Salisbury Crags on the east side of the city as well as George Heriots and the Pentland Hills which lie to the south and west of the city.
