Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Virginia

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

A phenomenal stay! The place was SO clean and way more beautiful than pictured. Beds were comfortable, soaps/shampoos and towels were SUPER PLENTIFUL. Mike and Trish's hospitality was the best we've ever experienced at ANY AirBnB. Mike even spent a long time helping us install our bike rack in the dark because we were really struggling! They delivered a crock pot and tweezers (a child got a splinter) within minutes of us asking. Talk about customer service! We LOVED feeding their horses and our kids had the BEST time playing with their puppy. This was definitely the low key retreat we needed to get away from the hectic hustle and bustle of DC. Their location was wonderful for a 20 mile RT bike ride and hikes in numerous parks. We will definitely return again, it was a perfect weekend!

This is a delightful home with a complete theme of Harry Potter. Everywhere you look you are surprised with a wonderful touch of Potter whimsy. Since we only stayed one night I suspect we only touched the surface of all the items. Home was well equipped, clean, and the host was wonderful. Definitely a must stay.

This place was beautiful and very close to Summerville Lake. We had a lovely time and would love to return again. Nathan is very responsive to your needs.

This was our second stay at Robert's place. We love the Ohio River at the back of the house with great views both during the day and at night. The beds are comfy and the house has lots of room to stretch out and enjoy. A must stop whenever we are in Wheeling.

Place was awesome beds were comfy and the kayaks were allot of fun, loved having the privacy too, only two things that kinda sucked but wasn’t bad really was the neighborhood the home is in restricts motorcycles .. the host helped me out and we got it taken care of, and the neighbors dog likes to come running out in front of the car and chase you so beware of it, wouldn’t want anyone to hit him. Overall amazing place to stay we loved it!

We had an excellent stay on our journey along the C&O canal. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our larger group. Everything was pristinely clean and the bathroom/shower was luxurious. Very happy with our stay and big thanks to the homeowners!

If you're looking for a luxury suite, this is not it, but that's about the only thing anyone can say that isn't extremely positive about this place. It's great for the price, comfortable, and kept very clean. For less than you would pay for most hotel rooms that are within my standard, you're getting a 2 bedroom apartment for use. Television, internet, multiple beds, very clean and usable kitchen, simple checkin and checkout, simple rules. The building has it's quirks, but honestly, they have made more than the best of what the property can be used for. This is extremely close to the casino, making late night food simple. Driving and parking here are not complicated.

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

Tracie's place delivered on its promise of being cozy and private. I was in and out a lot over my stay but was perfectly comfortable in the unit. I appreciated the quiet and peacefulness of my stay in the midst of a lot of social time in my schedule. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! So glad I found Tracie and her place.

I work in Beckley several times a year and was burnt out on hotel life. Christine’s place was perfect for my 2 night stay. Quaint and cozy, quiet and comfortable. The bed and linens were so comfy. Good restaurants are near by, or order in..you’re literally in the downtown area. She provided coffee, tea, and fresh cold filtered water. Even provided coffee creamer! Would definitely recommend, it’s perfect for a couple or if you’re solo!

Cute place, felt very private. It was clean and cozy! We loved the area. There was a lot of nature to explore. When we returned, we had a comfortable retreat to go back to.

We loved this house. The Italian design is beautiful. The house was very clean and well supplied with everything you need. Even though there was no issues Rachel was very responsive to a couple of local area questions I had. Definitely will look to stay here again when we return.

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

Our stay at this home was magical. We came to Davis with our kids to ski at Timberline. The home is literally about 2 minutes from the resort. You could only be closer if you were at a ski in/ski out. Everything in the home was brand new and sparkling. Each room was spacious, comfortable (loved all the dimmable lights) and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything you could possibly need. The host even had board games and puzzles that we could do as a family after a long day skiing. I would absolutely stay here again and hope we can come back next year!

We had a great time at the lodge. We got clear directions to the home. It was very rainy on arrival, so Bobbie met us near the home to guide us to the home. She walked us through the home and made a welcome tray. The lifesaver was the food for the next morning. We arrived at 7:30pm and having basic groceries in the home already was the best feeling especially when we didn’t know the town, we didn’t have to wonder to find a grocery store late at night and we could just unpack and unwind after a long day. The home was impeccable for being such a large property. We had overlooked the beds for the kids and she offered me a mattress and two air mattresses, she showed us where they were stored and she had extra linens in almost every room. We were a group of 14 from kids age 6 up to adults age 78. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed the home, the views from the back deck and seeing the animals gracing through the day. Bobbie is by far the next property manager we’ve ever met. We loved it!

This was a last minute housing request for a work trip- accommodations were perfect for our needs- a lot of people in and out, washer and dryer in unit, etc.

We had a lovely getaway in a gorgeous setting, especially enjoying the water sports and beach areas. During our stay, a major issue with water in the house came up, which Alexis managed to resolve speedily, even over a holiday weekend.
