Waterfront holiday rentals in Westerland

The apartment is cozy, for two you have to really like each other :-) - although it is an advantage not to be very tall. Perfect in the low season, as it has a sea view even in so-so weather. In the high season, the location would be too crowded (pedestrian zone). There is a bicycle cellar (I left the car at home) and the office is always staffed with nice and helpful people. Everything in the apartment as described and the bathroom is fine. I can only recommend it - as I said, with the restriction that the location would be too crowded for me personally in the high season. One inevitably wonders how many jackets/sweatshirts/T-shirts people need. But the bakery and Edeka around the corner - that reconciles.

Wonderful and cosy apartment at beautiful Keitum. Even if the weather isn’t that inviting, it makes you feel home at a nice place.

Enjoyed a few days here with the family. Nice garden, cozy little apartment. About 10-20min drive to most places for sightseeing or grocery shopping.

Small but very nice accommodation. Very good amenities. Very tastefully decorated. Good location, very close to the knee beach and bike paths. We had a great week there.

The house is an old captain's house with a lot of charm. The apartment is cozy, everything you need is there. If you want to cook a lot yourself (we don't), I would recommend taking a non-stick pan😉. The garden is great: large, green, 2 beach chairs, one of which we used. Except for 1-2 aircraft from time to time, absolutely quiet. Edeka and a good bakery are within walking distance, by bike it was 2 min. In the garden, there are parking spaces and bicycle stands. That was helpful for us. As for the cleanliness/odor often mentioned here: It is a very old house with beams in the apartment. No cleaning crew climbs up there to clean🤷‍♀️. And carpet is always a thing... If you want sterile cleanliness, you shouldn't move in there. It worked for us. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, even bed, towels etc. impeccable. And if you ventilate sufficiently, it doesn't smell either. We were very satisfied and would be happy to come back!

Great location to the beach and right in the center. Small but very well equipped apartment. Very nice communication with the host.

As last year, we felt very comfortable. The apartment is within walking distance of the beach,bakery,bike rental,shopping,bus stops. Communication with Melissa was always friendly and reliable. There was nothing missing in the apartment.

Everything went smoothly, the apartment is very nice and well maintained, you feel right at home.

The cozy Villa Kunterbunt is highly recommended for everyone, with many children! There is so much to discover and try (inside and outside). For all detail lovers and those looking for a cottage with many stories, this is just as good as people who are just looking for something else... thank you for the beautiful days in the fall, the fresh flowers, the uncomplicated communication and the super nice Jonathan as a reception... we will be happy to come back! We spent 2 nights in this great accommodation and felt very, very comfortable there. We especially enjoyed the view from the rear, covered balcony of the Wadden Sea, the sheep and the Sylt ferry. The decor is very nice in Scandinavian style, everything was very clean and the amenities are excellent. Those who do not yet know Rømø are well supplied with information here and the Windfeld family communicated with us very attentively and friendly. Thank you very much, we will be happy to come again! :)

We felt very comfortable in the house of Ludde Meister. Everything was perfect. The house is lovingly decorated and very clean. We had everything we needed. Communication with Conny was outstanding. Jan's house is a picturesque farmhouse in a rural setting overlooking the sea. The spaces were good, nice and cozy. A good home base to explore the island of rømø and the town of Ribe. What could be a downside is that there were no blackout curtains, making it very light in the bedrooms. You also have to hold the shower head yourself when showering, there was no shower rod at adult height.

A perfect place to unwind - absolutely recommended! From the very first minute, we felt completely at ease. The cottage was clean and lovingly furnished – we immediately felt at home. The furnishings are well-maintained and tasteful, with many beautiful details. We were particularly enthusiastic about the immediate proximity to nature: birds everywhere, tranquility, vastness - exactly what we were looking for. The Hallig exudes a special serenity, and we were able to really relax there. A big thank you also to our contact person Iris – we were able to contact her with questions at any time. The owners, Hennig and Lisa, were also helpful with questions from the beginning. We enjoyed every second and would have liked to stay. A place we would definitely like to visit again!

A super nice and cozy, functional house both inside and outside. Very centrally located. Nice surroundings that invite you to a trip into the city, hiking and trips in the area.

The thatched roof house was totally cozy, and the garden was great. We and our dog felt very comfortable here.

An all-around relaxing holiday. Ingeborg is a very attentive and friendly host who has thought of all the little things touchingly. The apartment has a great location and is furnished with everything you need. I felt very comfortable!

Our stay with Thomas was really beautiful! The communication went smoothly and we also loved the tips for the area and the ferry. The apartment is right on the beach, although small but very clean and has everything necessary ready. We rented bikes and were able to easily reach everything from the apartment. There is a small point of criticism from us for the linen package, which must be booked obligatory and is not exactly cheap. Maybe the price could be calculated on the apartment price in order not to have too many additional costs. We would definitely visit again!
