Cottage holiday rentals in Western Australia

My partner and I had an excellent stay at this accommodation, it was very private and waking up to the scenery surrounding the cottage was unreal. All the amenities you could need were there and we made great use of the kitchen for our meals each night. The spa bath was a great feature and a massive selling point for us. The hosts were very responsive to our messages, friendly and eager to help which is greatly appreciated.

We had a great couple of nights stay in the Wagon-Lit. Situated up high, you meander your way up quite a steep path and cobbled steps through beautiful garden surroundings to the unique converted railway carriage that looks out west through the forest trees. We were 2 single adults and a 1 year old puppy. It was the puppy’s first experience in such a setting and we all loved being able to walk/run free around the private trails and gardens. Oh and being able to have a dip in the jacuzzi was a lovely luxury during these cooler winter days. Thank you Junko and your team for providing such a unique memorable experience.

The property was absolutely tranquil, well set up, perfectly comfortable and cozy, we will definitely be coming back. Angela is an excellent host also, she consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, we did run late on checking in so Angela had the fire going for us, as well as preheating the spa, it was such a lovely way to arrive. There were even some home grown avocados left on the bench for us, (which were delicious, thankyou). The yard is enclosed at the front of the house, so the pooches could get out and stretch their legs. We would certainly recommend a stay here, there is everything you need for a comfortable and cozy get away, Angela has gone to great lengths to ensure everything is explained, rules and requests are made very clear, and we were not left wanting for anything more. It was great!!

Second time we have stayed here. Love the secluded, private forest setting and that we can bring our dog with us. Having the pit fire on an evening is a highlight. We will be back again.

Perfect escape. Angela is very easy to communicate with & answered any queries quickly. Sad that the cafe is temporarily closed. Wishing the owners all the best to achieve their goals in upgrading the premises.

We had a fantastic stay! Check-in and check-out were easy and seamless. The host was excellent—very prompt and clear with communication. The heritage home was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal—central to cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and bars, with Kings Park and Perth city just a short distance away. It was a very warm and welcoming place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended!

The airbnb was lovely and super welcoming :). It had everything we needed! Especially extra blankets to cosy up in 😂. The bbq was also a welcome surprise!

Gorgeous little cabin with beautiful surroundings bush. Many beautiful walks and evenings by the fireplace with local herbal tea. Close to Margaret River so easy to duck into town to cafes or restaurants etc.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. One of the biggest highlights was how pet-friendly it was — our two dogs had the best time exploring the secure yard and lounging around with us. It’s not always easy to find a place that genuinely welcomes pets, so this was such a bonus for us! The location was peaceful and perfect for unwinding, yet still close enough to local sights and conveniences. Our host was also incredibly helpful and communicative, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. We can’t recommend this place enough — whether you’re a couple looking for a quiet escape or traveling with furry companions, this spot ticks all the boxes. We’d love to come back again soon.

Beautiful quiet place, cosy and practical.

A beautiful property in the hills of Perth. We walked down to the packing shed winery for lunch so the house is easily in walking distance. You just have to go down and then back up a hill. Beautiful views off the deck. A very relaxing stay.

Fabulous little gem in a beautiful location. House was better than I expected, amazing ocean views, open plan lounge/kitchen, comfy bed, very quiet ! Beach is a 5 min walk,neighbours are lovely. Need to come prepared with food & fuel. Will definitely be back 🫶

This is a great place to stay! Michael is very friendly and has heaps of information about local hikes to do. It is a perfect cottage for three adults, with two bathrooms and a good set up. Lots of detailed maps of local hiking trails are provided, and Mike is only too happy to have a chat about the history of the area, his family's involvement in the area, and lots more! Kitchen was reasonably well equipped, and that was a good thing, as cooking is a must here, as there aren't many options nearby for dining. Mount Barker is not far away though, so groceries can be obtained. The nearby Karribank place had nice sandwiches for lunch and good coffee. Would definitely check them out for dinner next time, as it seemed a great place with quality food. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back here!

Suzanne 's place met all our expectations. Private and cosy,with all the amenities to make one feel comfortable. Will definitely recommend her place if you are staying in Denmark.

A fantastic way to spend a winters weekend in the gorgeous town of Dwellingup. We felt cosy and comfortable and especially enjoyed the fireplace. The house was clean and well appointed. Bianca was very helpful and responded immediately when we requested to extend our stay as we were having such a great time. Definitely recommend

Loved this place. If you’re looking for quiet, peaceful isolation surrounded by trees, but still close to Augusta, this is it. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation with everything you need. Good cooking facilities and equipment. Lovely comfortable beds. Fabulous National Park walk at a short walk from the chalet. We easily stayed 10 days. Higher recommended.

A great place to stay! Accommodation has everything you need. Brilliant location, a short walk into the town centre and all tourist attractions. And Catherine provided lists of plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants to check out. Would definitely recommend

What a delighgful cottage set in beautifully maintained tropical gardens. It was clean and very well equipped: perfect for a short, or even a long, getaway. Sue was a great host: very communicative and welcoming and she was very approachable to help with any issues. I would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again if visiting Broome.

Stayed for 3 nights, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, comfortable and cozy, fire was lit before we arrived which was nice, linens and beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, yard was wonderful for the toddler who appreciated the swing and size, we close to downtown too which was nice. Communication with the owner was great. Highly recommend.

Although this little cottage doesn't look like much from the outside, it was a very cute and comfy farm stay. The inside is quite spacious, with 2 decent sized bedrms & living area, although the bathroom is modest. Very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, and was one of the cleanest stays I've walked in to. It was peaceful, although you're in the corner block of a road, you are still surrounded by farm land & forest, feeling very much in nature, and the very small amount of traffic didn't bother us at all. The fireplace was a treat and the bath with a view was spectacular & very private. All amenities and extra blankies were there as stated, beds & all linen were very comfortable. We were lucky enough to be there during lambing season which was very exciting. Dale was a great host with responsive communication, we'd definately stay again and recommend this for a lovely country get away. We found it a great central location for exploring Augusta, Hamlin Bay & Margaret River.
