Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Western Massachusetts

This is our first visit to Hartford and we very much enjoyed all the city had to offer. This place was close to the river, the Bushnell Theater, the Wadsworth museum and some good restaurants.

Very quaint typical New England home. We absolutely loved it and will be returning on a regular basis next year as it’s very convenient for us with our daughter at the local boarding school. Clean, tidy, free of clutter and very comfy. Good delivery service available from local restaurants if you don’t feel like going out. We were exhausted after packing up our daughters dorm room and just wanted to stay in. It felt like a home away from home .

Mariann has a great space in a great location. Very accommodating and friendly, made you feel very welcome . Very responsive. Really nice area. Would highly recommend.

Theresa was an amazing host, she clearly communicated with us along the way, and made sure we had our privacy & provided the upmost comfort. Her space was well kept and full of considerate touches to facilitate a relaxing stay, the subtleties go a long way. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow, shared a few stories of skiing adventures & loved the friendly visits from Ben. The views were picturesque to boot, we definitely plan to come stay in other seasons.

What a cool opportunity to stay in charming vintage mansion! Very convenient to the train station, local eateries, and the De La Luz Soundstage.

The landlord was kind and friendly, and I was able to feel very at ease during my stay.If you want to visit this place again, this is the place for you.

This is pretty much a perfect AirBnB rental. The place is so nicely decorated, full of charm, and easily walkable to the entirety of downtown attractions. My Mom and I were absolutely delighted with the stay. It’s also only about a 20 min (very pleasant) walk to the track. The hosts were very proactive in communications, the parking is excellent, and they even left a nice treat for us on arrival. The usual amenities are there as well as some less usual (shampoo and soap provided, sound machines in bedrooms) and the beds are excellent. With the proximity to town, you are able to hear some music and activity from inside the home at night - this is just a reality of staying in town on probably the busiest weekend of the year (Belmont) and was not disruptive to our stay at all but the sound machines were a nice touch to mask it. The hosts also left great recommendations for local restaurants that we took full advantage of!

I stayed at Donna’s AirBNB as a last minute need to get something for a work stay. She was super helpful and responsive to any concerns or questions I had going up to the stay. Check in was a breeze and while I’m not really a fan of being in what I consider a city it was quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to anything worldly that you would need in town and for anything extra within five minutes of the drive. It matched the photos almost down to the way the pillows were fluffed in the posting. Would be a great place for someone who enjoys walking for dinner or walking to the park maybe he has a kid or a couple in the area for a stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to book there again.

Beautiful location on the lake. We enjoyed using the kayak, deck, grill, kitchen, and pool table. Excellent communication from Scott. Plenty of room for the whole family. Thank you!

My 11-day stay at Mary's was truly tranquil and restorative. The grounds are exquisitely maintained, full of color and delight. it was lovely to wake each morning see new blooms opening up into the day. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, allowing for outdoor meals & long afternoons reading on the back porch-the only sounds wind in trees, water in nearby streams, birdsong & in the evenings, the trill of peepers by the pond. all with the stunning view of the mountains in the distance. The house itself is beautifully appointed, furniture, beds, bedding and decor, all high quality. The kitchen is totally stocked with first-rate appliances, a joy to cook in. and I can say without any doubt, this is the only airbnb i've stayed in where the artwork and the books were EXCELLENT. Mary is the best kind of host- helpful, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. Her attention to detail and kind consideration were likewise everywhere evident. I can't wait to return! thank you Mary!

I was expecting a great time at the Mushroom Palace but it was even better than I had hoped! It had everything we needed, nothing we didn’t. The hot tub and sauna were clean and hot. We had two really memorable nights there, grilling, chilling, using the outdoor fire pit, and the spa stuff. The house had a lot of charm and character but was very clean had a pleasant smell. I have stayed in many airbnbs over the years and this is definitely in my top 5! I definitely plan on returning. Kyle was so nice to communicate with and very reasonable. This place is a gem and so is Kyle! Can’t wait til my next trip to saugerties. 🍄 ❤️

This is an absolutely charming house built in 1880. It’s tucked away off the main road. The turn is hard to spot, so be on the lookout, or you will likely pass it by. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very thoughtful. Highly recommend this place.

Kira’s place felt just like home - comfortable, clean, warm, and lovely. Kira was also very responsive and kind in all her communications with us. We would absolutely stay again, without a doubt!

The property was as described, beautifully situated by the water in a beautiful location. Lee, the host, provided prompt and responsive communication. the unique outdoor shower and toilet (incinerator toilet) were acceptable for us, but the space was somewhat limited for two adults and two children; it may be better suited for two guests.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Teva and his lovely home. The house is spacious, tidy, comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and everything you would need is there. We skied at Catamount which was ~20 minutes away - super convenient. Finally, and most notable, the overall experience and Teva’s attention to his guests’ experience was outstanding. He promptly and proactively reached out with local recommendations, was accessible during our stay for any questions, and made us feel right at home. We hope to come back over the summer for a little getaway.
