Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Western Montana

My 80-year-old father had never stayed in an Airbnb. He was very pleased. He used to travel with a camper or choose the cheapest motel- with subpar quality. He felt very comfortable at Down Home Acres. We each (3 adults, 2 kids) had plenty of space. We enjoyed cooking for ourselves. We enjoyed all the amenities. We enjoyed the open space, including a visit from a barn cat. Home & amenities was well put together. I was grateful to have not upset my Dad’s normal routine & diet while staying away from home.

Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable!

Jenna's cabin on flathead lake was incredible! Truly peaceful and blessing to get to stay there. My family truly loved it. We would love to return sometime in the future. Her Airbnb was the most furnished Airbnb I have ever stayed in. (Bug spray, bear spray, spices, foil (etc), soap, shampoo and conditioner, even tissues and Laundry soap!) The paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat were truly bonus features! We love our time at the lake. Thank you Jenna for being very responsive. Truly a great host!

We had a wonderful week long stay. The home was comfortable, clean, had a fabulous layout and lots of space for our family. It is a beautiful home and looks exactly like the photos. Susan and James were very responsive and great hosts. We would highly recommend their home for its 10 minute drive from downtown Missoula and for its comfortable amenities.

We really enjoyed our visit to Keli's home. It was just as described and we felt very comfortable. Keli is a great host! We will definately book the home again if it is available.

Better than the photos! Great hosts. Peaceful, safe neighborhood. Stream running next to house. Great fire pit, bbq. Had everything needed to cook a simple meal or a huge dinner. Super clean. They literally have everything you need or wanted at an air band b. The town is wonderful. Lots to do nearby.

Truly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! Piper went above and beyond as a host—sending us fantastic recommendations before our arrival and making sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. We were just minutes from Georgetown Lake and got to go paddleboarding with our dogs before heading to the local brewery for a pint with some friendly locals. It was a peaceful and memorable Memorial Day weekend, and we’re already looking forward to booking this lovely spot again in the future!

Mike’s place was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and kitchen was new. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will love to stay at Mike’s place when we visit Bozeman next time.

This is our 2nd time to stay here. It’s always clean on arrival. We only slept in the gray bedroom and the mattress is wonderful. Love the area and especially the beautiful Paradise Valley rainbows! This duplex is our home away from home! Til next time Stacey! Thanks

Chantelle and Patrick are very nice people, their property is very nice and well maintained. I highly recommend their accommodations, you will not be sorry. Clean and nice, you can't beat that. Brett and Andrea’s place is truly a hidden gem—peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a getaway. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there were plenty of cozy blankets and pillows, ideal for unwinding and watching a movie. If we find ourselves back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful location, great host

We needed a quiet place to crash after a long road trip to see family, it was the perfect place to stay after a long drive.

Craig’s place was a great location and extremely cozy. Everything was extremely clean big bathroom extremely comfortable bed and sofa! It feels like you’re almost in a movie theater with a huge TV! Highly recommend! 10/10

Everything for living/kitchen/washing, etc. is available, as convenient as home, just bring your luggage to check in; but the kitchen does not have a range hood, even if you open the window to cook, the smell still accumulates in the room, and if you open the balcony door a little more, there is no screen, so mosquitoes will fly in in the summer, it is recommended to install a screen on the balcony door, or have a range hood system.

We were super happy to come back again for another wonderful visit to beautiful Montana, and Phil's cabin. As always he was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. Lovely cabin, had everything we needed, our cat enjoyed her time there just as much as we did! We can't wait to go back again and enjoy the amazing views, jacuzzi, and sounds of the river. Beautiful cabin! Great views of the mountains, river, and wildlife. A black bear and her cubs walked through the yard after only being there for 2hrs!!! Lots of windows to see the stars at night and man are they awesome! The owners are kind and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

The fellas and I were up this way again for work, and although the work-day ran well over and into the night, we did enjoy our evening at the cabin immensely! - which of course included time around the fire together! On that note, I want folks to consider that nature is indeed encoded with information (by The Creator, like any design), and with this perspective in mind, is it any wonder that fire itself is still one of the most magnificent, ancient forces to this very day? Not only is fire a practical and necessary element for the living, but it is also a symbol that naturally causes most of us to pause and reflect on the very meaning of life :-) Aside from my take on life, I will simply say that this place is blessed and that I very much appreciated the many gifts that I discovered during my short stay - excited for future plans! We are sad that we only had one night to spend in Bob's beautiful cabin. It has all the comforts of a modern home while staying true to its history. His directions were concise and easy to follow, and he is very friendly and quick to respond.

I booked Dave’s place as a special getaway gift for my daughter and her partner. I’m 69 and made a mistake on the checkout date, but Dave was incredibly kind and allowed them to rebook an extra night. What they found was nothing short of a dream. They described it as a fairytale brought to life—surrounded by beauty, peace, and thoughtful touches in every corner. I received photos of them swinging under the trees, cozy by the most charming little fireplace—it brought tears to my eyes. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience, a little piece of heaven crafted with love. Dave and Lee have created something truly magical, and the real magic is in the hearts of the hosts themselves.

Lovely cabin to stay in near Glacier NP, and great to have the hot tub after hiking. Very comfortable and clean and a beautiful setting.

This was a really beautiful and quiet place for a weekend getaway. It felt very private surrounded by the forest, and you couldn't see any neighbors easily. We heard so many different birds, and the wildflowers in mid-June were magical. The porch and deck were the perfect place to pass some lazy afternoons, and the cabin was so sweet and cozy. Would love to come back!
