This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.

A beautiful little retreat for me and my dog! Perfectly equipped with an extremely comfy bed and speedy wifi. The weather took a turn for the worse, so I did not really get to enjoy the outdoors… but the giant windows by the bed really helped create the cosiest of environments. Perfect for one, may be a little tight for two… but overall I returned home feeling completely relaxed thanks to my stay here!

Outstanding location just a couple of minutes walk to the Menin Gate and the main square. Parking is ideally located in an underground secure location just around the corner. The apartment is just perfect for two people to stay, very well equipped, spacious and in a quiet place. Would recommend the settee and shower are upgraded but these would not stop me booking again for my next visit. Great host. Absolutely loved my stay here.
