This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses are located along the path. Without crowds of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid) Here, you can still find wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

You sleep on the lovely Swiss Sense bed of 180x200. Your own terrace with unobstructed views of the cows and sheep is included. Blokzijl is 10 minutes by bike and the Weerribben in our "backyard". Giethoorn and Steenwijk are 20 minutes by car. Breakfast with local products can be booked for €12.50 pp per day.

The house is located in the most beautiful spot in the Netherlands, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve De Weerribben. Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Our cozy cottage with Jacuzzi is located 6 kilometers from Giethoorn and in the middle of the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. At the back directly adjacent to the Wetering river, and at the front unobstructed views over the meadows with grazing cows. From the cottage, you can directly do all kinds of activities. Such as stand-up paddleboarding, cycling, boating, or eating out at Restaurant Geertien, which is within walking distance of the cottage.
