Waterfront holiday rentals in Wilmington

What a lovely place! Carlene was gracious and warm, and answered all our questions. And the apartment is lovely and very comfortable. And the view out the wall of windows looks over Lake Champlain, offering superb views and still preserving privacy. The yard is large and immaculately maintained, and the nearby causeway offers a trail to bicycle and walk with the lake on either side. I would definitely come back here again. Note that the drive to downtown Burlington is lengthier than I anticipated--about 40 minutes, depending on time of day. However, the seclusion of this home by the lake is what made it so worthwhile.

Brad was a great host, he was extremely helpful. The walls were not noise canceling which was not an issue just took some getting used to due to the fact that you could hear the people upstairs conversations. Overall a great place!

We loved our stay! The place was extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. We did not cook but full kitchen if you want to with everything you would need. Plenty of towels and huge bathroom. The balcony was relaxing and beautiful view and beachfront. Would definitely love to come back.

Such a cozy place to rest and enjoy the Adirondack forest. Just off the main road but still close to town. Efficient and comfortable with beautiful craftsmanship throughout. Combined with Betsy’s proactive communication it was the ideal spot for my stay. Highly recommended.

Whitney's loft provided a perfect getaway for my 30th birthday. It was super clean and inviting. She was resposive throughout the whole experience. The environment was perfect if you want a peaceful, yet adventurous stay. We made use of the provided canoe and paddled through the Oseetah Lake with our dogs, which is just a short walk on the property. This is our first time in the ADK area and we were not disappointed. We even took a day trip to Montreal.

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Ashley’s home is gorgeous! If you like the idea of staying in a lake house with a magnificent view you will not be disappointed. The home has two larger windows, one in kitchen and living room that provides a breathtaking view of the lake. The home is exactly as described and more, very nicely decorated with all new appliances. We could not have been happier with our stay and look forward to the next opportunity to stay again.

Our stay at Whiteface Mountain House not only delivered on all of the features it promised, but there were also so many pleasant discoveries that made this trip truly unforgettable. Starting with amenities and appliances, the house is very well equipped with a spotless, energy-efficient kitchen, three full bathrooms, laundry room, plenty of places to lounge, and a gorgeous upper deck with grill. The fire-pit is a huge standout feature, constructed of large natural stones that lend themselves to hanging on around the fire. Then there is the trail from the backyard down the hill that leads directly to the bank of the Ausable River, with plenty of spots to dip in on hot days, or cold plunge on cool mornings. For being in a row of homes along the river, there is a serene seclusion to the space. The high ceilings do make the interior feel quite minimal, so I am eager to see how the character of this newly built home develops over time. It was the perfect basecamp for our adventures!

The house and location were amazing. We had 10 people and there was more than enough room for all of us. We played ping pong and air hockey until our arms were sore!

Cannot recommend this spot enough! Took my kids here for a few days on February break. We hit Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Whiteface - everything within a short drive...White Face under 15 minutes away. The house was a perfect winter spot for us. It was clean, cozy, and just what we needed! The house has a rustic charm but has been updated with all the right modern trimmings (kitchen, bathroom, etc.). Heather was lightning fast with her responses. 10/10 would go back again!

Mary is absolutely amazing! We had a last-minute booking and ended up arriving super late at midnight, but she still came all the way from NJ just to welcome us and show us around the house. It made for such a special experience! We really enjoyed our time there—the lake and mountain view were gorgeous, the neighborhood was so peaceful, and we loved having a fire pit by the lake. Plus, being able to kayak and canoe was just what we were looking for! Every craft in the home is handmade and has its own special story, which we found really fascinating. Exploring all the collections and photos was a treat! The home has such a rich history. We can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Camp Moonshadow, where we met our daughter, who came over from Burlington to spend the weekend with us. It was a very easy ferry drive and short drive for her. It was exactly what we needed - quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We did the short hikes nearby and we cooked in all meals. Kitchen was an absolute joy to cook in - large and open and providing most of what we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit on one of the nights - roasting marshmallows and catching up. Coffee on the patio in the mornings was lovely. Bedrooms were comfortable, and bathrooms squeaky clean and expansive. Host Steven got back to me regarding a few hours early on checkin - much appreciated. This is a quiet neighborhood, and perfect for a restful respite.

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

My family and I had an awesome time. Great location. Love the sauna. Will definitely come back.

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Shaun's place was more than we could have asked for! Very roomy and clean. Easy walk right to the heart of Lake Placid. Finding and parking at the condo was super straightforward and simple to find. We forgot coffee filters, (of course we realized this on a morning we woke up at 4am for a big hike) but thankfully Shaun's place comes with some odds and ends like coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc - so thanks for that! Next time I'm back in the Adirondacks I'm staying here.

We had such a beautiful stay! The views from the condo are better in person. Rudy’s place was warm and welcoming, very clean, and felt like home! The town itself was perfect for a getaway with lots to do. Would love to book again!
