Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Wine Country

The location was truly perfect -- excellent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Walk to UC Berkeley was about 10 to 15 minutes, to Rockbridge BART was about 20 minutes. Emily was a super nice host and helped me with local tips and informations.

What a delightful stay! Leda is a fantastic host, and her home is absolutely a great find. So quiet and safe. The house backs up onto a salt water lagoon—it’s a nature lover’s paradise. The beds are the best, excellent sleep is in your future here. The location is conveniently located to jump on the light rail to the ferry building and then San Francisco, or go to the Marin coast, or Sonoma. One should not let this opportunity pass by.

Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Sandor and Giuliana are the best hosts! We loved getting to know them and their sweet dog, Giorgio, and staying in their beautiful home. They made us feel right at home and had wonderful neighborhood recommendations and local history to share.

This place is dreamy! I stayed in the farmhouse and it’s the place where you check in. It’s a beautiful building with a living room and a fireplace and lots of tables for eating. The food they make here is outstanding. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is shared with the people staying in the other room in the farm house. The other rentals on this property are all within earshot. The staff is accommodating and energetic. This place is great for a big event or a quiet getaway. I will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! Our host was wonderful...great communication and accommodating! Everything was as described....beautiful and clean. Breakfast was wonderful...a real treat that takes you back to traditional Bed & Breakfast days. Great location, close to shops and many wonderful restaurants, coffee and cafes. Highly recommend!!

What can I say about Lana and her wonderful house/hosting? I lived with Lana and a virtual UN of other limited guests for six months. During that time, I acclimated to being back in California, being a full time Dad again, and working/looking for a job. Lana's unique blend of cozy and extraordinarily (yet relaxed) helpfulness came through in spades. It's a community as well as individual preferences. One thing that always is present is love. Lana truly enjoys what she's doing with AirBnB, and I have yet to meet someone - past or present - that doesn't find her and her home endearing. Indeed, she has even become like a virtual Grandmother to my two children. (Psst - she also unusually let me throw a small birthday party - I dressed as Mr. Incredible - and a small poetry party complete with black beret for poem readers!) I could go on and on, but perhaps it is better to end here on one last note. I will be sure to keep in touch Lana for years and always treasure the time I came to live with and know Lana. I'm so happy I found this gem. We stayed in the Jenner room - super cute, cozy and clean. It felt a little like we were in Tahoe with a splash of wine country. Bryce and Dana were super accommodating and had great suggestions. The breakfast sandwich was hands down the best breakfast sandwich we had ever had (hope I'm not setting the expectations too high)! Thanks for a great stay and we'll definitely be back!

Pamela and Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and acquainted with the space. They met us for check in and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed many a wonderful conversation with them throughout our stay over breakfast which they thoughtfully set out each morning. Their house was stunning and walking distance from Piedmont and College Ave which made our stay very fun and easygoing. There were so many personal touches along the way, including homemade jam and honey with the breakfast. We would be honored to be able to stay again sometime.

Functional BnB, 11 room house built in 1892. Attendee on site but not with the same scope of responsiveness as a hotel (e.g. no ice machine) but it was a wonderful location and all the charm of vintage house with very well updated amenities. The bathroom was fully updated with a retro-style consistent with the period. The front desk host was very proactive and responsive. My ONLY grievance is that I asked for an early check-in and did not receive a response. Had I received a "No early check-in" response, I would have accepted it and planned accordingly. This is a place to visit, then revisit.

We stayed here for a girls trip to Napa and it was absolutely amazing! Patricia is an exceptional host and was so sweet and welcoming! We absolutely loved staying here and recommend it if you’re into the area! The sticky buns and fresh coffee were a plus! We will def be back!

had a last minute change to my reservation and they were very kind and flexible about it. Very cool old house, private bathroom, free breakfast. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Stayed here on my trip up the west coast

We had a great time here! Becky, the innkeeper, was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and cooked everybody some mean pancakes in the morning. I want to emphasize how good the free homemade breakfast was. We will be back!

We were very pleased with our stay! It was the first time my children have experienced a bed-and-breakfast. They really enjoyed the family style breakfast. We loved the beaches and the details of staying in this gem of a home, with so many old world style details. We would stay here again the next time we're in the area! The inn is managed very well and capably by Becky. We highly recommend it!

The host Becky was amazing! she was very responsive and kind. She chopped kindling for our fire place and made pancakes in the morning! The room and building itself was super magical! We will definitely be back

The room and the home were beautiful. Check in was a bit slow- there were several of us that arrived at the same time and the hostess seemed frazzled. We were on the 2nd floor of the carriage house, I think- in unit 10- and our view to the neighbors yard was atrocious. But the air bnb itself was lovely and the food was amazing during breakfast.

Jeanne & her husband Bruce are the dearest of couples. We especially enjoyed chatting with them a bit at breakfast time each day, focusing on days gone by (I enjoy family history) and life in general. Jeanne was generally the one up first, already in the kitchen before we got up, waiting with her big smile and clever funny comments. Of course, they would have kept to themselves but we encouraged conversation, especially considering they felt like good old friends or neighbors. They also politely inquired about our day each evening - always thoughtful. We thank them both for sharing their home and themselves.
