Villa holiday rentals in Wine Country

Our stay was wonderful the house it’s self was great . The only problem we had was the boat house. We thought it had a boat house and it was there just out of commission , we had to drive 20 minutes or so to launch and then take out every night. Our grandchildren did love the fishing there and the views were incredible ! The kitchen was very nice , the beds were comfy and we were able to bring our dogs! Over all we all loved the experience !

Absolutely stunning property. You'll find everything you need in the home. The kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you need to prepare any kind of dish should you want to stay in a cook, and eat outside to view the stunning surroundings. Great location for restaurants, hikes, shopping, etc. River access is a huge plus for warmer months. Loved everything about this place.

Great, safe location! Big house with everything we needed for our large family of 7. Comfy beds, and lots of room to spread out and for the kids to play! Sam was an awesome host too! He helped us late night while we were dealing with an issue at another airbnb. He called us right away to connect, went over to the home and turned the heat on for our arrival, let us check out late since we came in so late, really saved the day on the bad experience we were having with another owner, and he was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again and are so thankful to have found such an awesome host!!! AWESOME STAY!!!

Sang’s home was beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious — perfect for our group getaway. The house was well-stocked, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. We cooked, enjoyed time out on the boat, and had such a great time as a family. Communication was clear and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful and enjoyable escape in Discovery Bay!

This was the perfect place for a girl’s getaway. We cooked and hung out on the patio overlooking the gorgeous view of Alexander valley. The place was clean and very comfortable to hang out with friends. Beds were comfy too! Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect Glen Ellen retreat. Private. Beautiful. Spacious. We loved the indoor/outdoor living and having guests in their own private bungalow. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful & Peaceful Stay Our overall experience was wonderful—peaceful and refreshing. The property is spacious, almost like a park, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. We even set up a volleyball net and had fun playing with a bright pink ball! For those who love both comfort and adventure, this place is perfect for "gramping"—a mix of camping and glamping. You can bring a tent, engage in outdoor activities, and still have the convenience of a well-functioning propane gas BBQ. One thing to note is that while the gates can't be closed, well-behaved dogs will be fine in this environment. It would be nice to have an option to secure them, but it didn't take away from the wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with plenty of space to enjoy!

It was a lovely house for an extended family for a UC Berkeley graduation. The house was spacious - 5 large bedrooms all with king beds! The dining room was lovely for an in home meal. Nice outdoor seating. Spacious living areas. Great off street parking. Friendly service.

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

This was the perfect place for us to visit with our three adult children, since there was plenty of space for everyone. It’s a fairly central location in Oakland with many walkable areas between 15 and 30 minutes away. Not really in any specific neighborhood but close to many. Large attractive, outdoor space and plenty of privacy. Alli was a great host and extremely responsive when an issue came up.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.

This place is lovely - a family home - pool - gardens. The on-site host Rue - an aspiring actress - is very sweet - and believable - hope you got the part!

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

We - my wife, son and his wife and 16 month old daughter, along with my daughter and three boys shared this beautiful home. As written in the description, Michael's listing was very accurate, well supplied, and met the needs of our family during a very intensely hot week. The pool was the star attraction. The kitchen was well supplied and we were encouraged to use all of the amenities to enjoy our stay. It was very clean. The loft was roomy enough for two adolescent boys. We had some challenges with adjusting AC system temperature, but Michael was accessible when we needed assistance. He responded to other inquiries in a timely manner. Perhaps our only complaint was that the beds in all three bedrooms were not very comfortable. Usable closet space would have helpful as we traveled for a large wedding venue. Lovely Place! It was everything we had hoped for, spacious, peaceful and with a wonderful view of the vineyards and mountains. Highly recommended.

Beautiful secluded property in stunning countryside, well designed and maintained, surrounded by vines and forest yet close to amenities and activities, overall a great experience. Host was responsive, house was well stocked especially the kitchen, and the grounds (and fruit trees) were amazing. Wineries within walking distance.

Michael’s place was perfect for our family gathering and Michael and Joanie were super hosts—warm, thoughtful, very communicative. The backyard cabana and pool area are wonderful. It felt like we were at a tropical beach and made lots of family memories there. Thanks again for letting us stay in your home!

We had a lovely time staying at the villa. For having one room and a bathroom, it felt private, quiet, and cozy with a lot of charm. It was like staying in a tree house and felt incredibly safe. Our hosts were kind, responsive, but also let us keep to ourselves. The town was charming, had great food, and had a relaxed pace near the Muir woods, just like we wanted.

I enjoyed my stay at Ruby’s. Instructions were clear. The room with an attached private bathroom was perfectly clean and comfortable. It’s impressive that there are en-suite bathrooms for each of the 4 separate bedrooms occupied by guests. Each room has its on keypad #. Rooms are right next to each other and I occasionally heard another guest talking, but it didn’t happen often. I never saw the other guests. It was also very nice that guests shared the use of a large kitchen equipped with everything you needed. As for there being stairs and a steep driveway, I’m 65 and didn’t find it problematic. However, the Uber that drove me to the house couldn’t get up the moderate slope in his Tesla. Hilarious. I had no issue walking and carrying my bags up the driveway and the few steps. Overall, a very quiet and peaceful stay.
